I found a rock /stone on my property in the middle of my back yard . It looks like a eggshell cut in half. White stone . Could it be a marker ? 1926

More than likely it is not a survey marker. The surveyors were not interested in find and using interesting looking stones for one thing. They used what they could find without having to carry. Also, the law required the stones to have a minimum number of cubic inches and be buried a certain percentage of the length. Good question.
