I'm a registered voter and I am against any military buildup for Israel 🇮🇱 Because they might get the wrong impression or idea. Looking at their past experience and actions says a lot.
Even if Blinkin and his government do come to the agreement for seasfire, it will only be temporary until the election in the US. Nathayahu knows that America will never ever turn back on Israel. So he might not mind accepting the agreement for the short term.

The terms of the ceasefire have changed because Israel knows that Hamas is on their own. Their allies Hezbollah and Iran have no interest in declaring war on Israel. Hamas doesn't have the means to remove Israel from it's land or the ability to stop the airstrikes. Hamas gambled that it's allies would support them in this war and they were wrong. Israel is in full control of this conflict and it's end iwill be dictated by Israel alone.

Instead, it appears that U.S. Secretary of State Blinken is acting as his spokesperson. This approach, in my opinion, could be perceived as a diversion tactic to shift blame onto Hamas, thereby complicating the prospects of a genuine peace deal. It's crucial for direct communication and transparency in such sensitive negotiations.
