Honestly take your pick at this point their are so many different people through out history that this might be but if I was to take just a random shot in the dark I would probably say it might be someone related to the old order of rot that used to call the lands between home after all we do find the lake of rot down where these statues are most common and we know that an order of rot did exist prior to the conquest of the golden order and the birth of Malania even those "roots" at the guy's feet look somewhat like miniature legs or tendrils if you squint and put a picture of a rot kindred next to them but again that's just a random theory I jus thought of
