Peter Fuckowski thinks because he can read a PFF rating and yell that he’s making good points. First of all, teams mislead their opponent about who will be starting all the time, it’s been a strategy in sports forever, just look at baseball and the starting pitchers; the MLB had to make a rule about it. Also little Pete never thought that maybe, just maybe our linebackers were bad because Joe Barry is an incompetent D-coodinator. Did little Pete ever think that it’s possible Hafley sees potential in McDuffie and Quay Walker? I agree that Cooper needs more playing time, but holy Christ, two weeks with a competent D-Coodinator is all Quay has had in his NFL career, give it some damn time. The better players will be playing by the mid-point of the season. If there was someone in locked on NFL that had some podcast knowledge, they’d say something and get Peter off this channel. “Sorry, not sorry.”

Couldn’t agree more about the linebackers. Their run fits are just so poor. What’s confusing about quay is he appears to be worse in the run game? The scheme is supposed to allow him to do less thinking and more playing downhill and he consistently fills the wrong gap? Maybe they’re giving him time to adjust but if he doesn’t all of a sudden play lights out this week the media pressure on the coaches to bench him better be ear piercing. My personal opinion is our LBs are the reason for our run struggles

I'd love to see how they use Quay the next two weeks with more prototypical qbs. I've been saying since they drafted him I'd love to have him rush off the edge a bit more because of his athleticism

I agree 100% about Walker. Sadly I’ve been saying this for 2 yrs now. When you watch him, he always seems to shoot the wrong gap. He quite often seems out of position to make a play. And when a guard gets a hat on him, he gets washed out almost everytime. He struggles at shedding blocks, no matter what scheme they run. A 40 front should benefit him, not hurt him. The only reason he might get tackles is because it’s 4-10 yds downfield. Rarely does he ever make a tackle at or behind the LOS.

Fr, Quay has looked fine. He had a couple nice plays in coverage the last two weeks (no deflections but good positioning), he makes tackles and he rallies to the ball well. Only criticism I see is he sometimes seems slightly hesitant to fill the gaps hard

He'll make a nice play and then give up a 20 yd run right up the gut while unblocked . Against the Eagles, they ran some kind of misdirection where they left Quay unblocked hoping he would just follow the false puller and take himself out of the play and of course Quay fell for it. Ended up being a 25 yd run right down broadway. I'll put it this way, NOBODY runs that play against Fred Warner or Roquan Smith cuz its an automatic 5 yd loss and a laid out running back. Teams only run a disrespectful play like that against bad players. Quay is a failed linebacker at this point. Has no instincts and they cant be taught. Cooper and Hopper do have instincts. Time to see what they can do.

I AM A BELIEVER! Quay Walker was in position to stop Johnathan Taylor in the hole and Taylor just ran right by him. Later in the game, on 4th and forever, Walker was the spy on Richardson and Richardson also ran by him. The Walker experiment needs to be done.

The initial injury to Jordan Love looked like it was going to be much worse and the fact that it was only a sprain is massive and means that both the Packers and Jordan Love dodged a major bullet. The injury has also not forced the Green Bay Packers to place Jordan Love on IR. Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the initial timeline for Jordan Love to return was 3 to 6 weeks with “some early optimism that he could return sooner than later, pending a 2nd opinion.” It looks like he will at least be available in week 4, according to Dianna Russini, she said that Jordan Love returning in week 3 is considered a “long shot” and the most optimistic timeline would have him back in week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings “if there are no snags” in his recovery. The Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love dodged a bullet with the injury not being nearly as serious as it initially looked and Green Bay can get him back soon, then they should not lose that much ground on their quest to return to the playoffs. The win last week gives him an extra week to recover. It's not smart to throw Jordan back in there before he's has enough time to heal. And for all of their faults, the Packers are a smart organization.

He lets its slip on air in his postgame interview on the field he found out about CMC on Friday and then at the press conference afterwards at the podium totally changes his tune? Idk but I don’t constitute “knowing ball” as looking at pff numbers. There’s so many things that happen in a football game that a number can’t quantify. These analytics are out of hand. We won a football game giving up 10 points to a team that looked promising vs a good team in wk 1. Give me a break with pff numbers and stats. Not saying quay has been “good” but he is the reason for one of Richardson’s interceptions (McKinney pick) if you watch (beats interior o line/back in protection forcing a rushed decision and overthrow) Then we want to bench him. He has his good plays and his bad ones I.e. poor pff numbers. Just let the man develop. We are talking about someone who is still only 24 years old. Not a fan of this content however do enjoy the show.

Completely agree on Quay Walker. An athletic freak with minimal instincts. Glad to see multiple podcasts finally exposing how poor of a player he is. He’s constantly taking himself out of plays with poor run fits. Time to accept he was a first round bust and rescue our run D with a more capable player.

This episode is a disservice to your listeners. What type of argument are you trying to cook up with your QB section. What you produced was a giant nothing burger. Love's injury takes 3-6 weeks to heal. Absolutely no one in that medical and training staff is letting the highest paid player in the league play unless that injury is healed (especially this early in the season). Because if you reinjure it your time tables for return to play gets extended or worse you blow out your MCL. The vetran LB being bad argument is getting so stale. Yes the veterans will continue to get more reps than the rookies. They aren't going to change that with 2 data points from the rookies. If the rookies continue to play well come around Thanksgiving you can expect them to take a larger share of snaps.

What exactly is the disservice? He's trying to make sense of all the conflicting information. - MLF and the players are talking like Love had a chance to play last week and now this week (could be true, could be gamesmanship). - Diana Russinni is reporting that Love won't be back until the Minnesota game (apparently she has an inside source). - Ian Rapport is reporting that Love won't be back until the Rams or possibly as long as 6 weeks (apparently he has an inside source). - Adam Schefter is reporting Love will be back vs the Vikings but could possibly be back this week (apparently he has an inside source). If Love is going to be out 3-6 weeks, and the team knows that, doesn't it seem odd they are acting like he's day to day and that they didn't put him on IR? Typically when players are injured you get reports that jive with each other, the amount of conflicting information coming in about Love's injury is very strange.

Peter lives in the world of hurt feelings. The players on the packers team are professionals they are conditioned to play hard in any scenarios from Malik starting to Jordan well enough to play at the last second. I think Malik is happy being on the 53 squad ratherbthan the uncertainty being a practice squad player with the Titans. This past week he had shown adversity and will be better trained QB by the best qb coach in the league

Peter, you honestly aren't saying anything that every single Packers analyst I'm listening to is saying also. I watched probably 6 different videos breaking down the game this past Sunday and 5 of the videos were very critical of Quay and everyone of them were also like, what's left to see. Everyone I've heard talk about him always mentions his athletic skills but something isn't clicking. I know one thing he can't do and that's tackle. Horrible tackler and that's something he's gotta do. The numbers don't lie when you see his metrics and grades after the game. Time for Hafley to figure something else out. We just need competent LB play and that's it

Most players with mcl injuries usually come back sooner than later as well so….? It’s kind of baffling there’s so many people adamant love has no chance to return when most qbs don’t actually miss any time with this injury.

@@huntermielke12 everyone says this yet Aaron jones had grade 2 mcl sprains which is worse than Loves reported grade 1, where jones only missed one game, and Aaron Rodgers also had a worse mcl sprain combined with a tibial fracture and missed a qtr and came back after halftime during week 1. Multiple others over the years have done the same.

Quay Walker was getting thrown around like a little kid in the run game. He can not take on blocks at all. It’s like having a DB playing middle linebacker. And then of course the one thing he’s supposed to be good at, pass defense, he drops an easy pick that would have sealed the game. Walker has regressed in my opinion. 45 looked good. One positive

Maybe try to work out some kind of access to speak with some of the coaches after games, you know outside of the press conferences? I mean, I guess I don't know where you live. I always assumed you lived in Green Bay, maybe not. Take your butt down there and make an impact man, you know what they need to hear!!! It is stunning to hear Quay Walker has been that bad, I actually always thought he was an above average linebacker. We miss Campbell. @@cic6002 if he has mobility yes it would be favorable to have him back. However if he has little to no mobility don't put him in. Your risking further injury and loosing him for the rest of the season. Minnesota has always had a good defensive line with little need to blitz, putting Jordan Love back there is not favorable without mobility. You seem to forget our offensive line is in the very bottom tier (26th) against the pass rush! Put a target on Jordan Loves back and watch his season end, and our hopes for a SuperBowl go down the drain without mobility. Is Waiting or not Waiting better for this Season? That's what the coach will have to choose. My choice play it safe! Malik did good Sunday in the win, not great but good with few mistakes. This is a better team by far, than the 2017 with Mike McCarthy and the P.O.S. QB he chose to go with in Rodgers absence.
