I love this conversation, which is representative of the entire movie. It wasn't until he realized Frank was in his own house that he realized that he wasn't as smart or experienced as he thought. Another good part was when he hit the police car Frank was in and got several clips unloaded into his car 😂😂😂the way he walks in his boss' office is hilarious because she damn near got him killed by withholding info on Frank ❤

I really like that they fleshed out Karl Urban's character in this one. Made for more of a mutual respect between them. You'll notice that Frank doesn't demand that he release Sarah, he instead says "keep her safe". It's a subtle twist on the usual "if you harm the girl I'll kill you" trope that humanizes both of them.
@HariSeldon913

Not exactly. Willis tells him that if Sarah is harmed he will take out Cooper's family and Cooper knows Frank can find them no matter where they are hidden.

@Edward-nf4nc

Great acting indeed but there's more to it. Cooper was so confident at the start, then he came to realise the situation was bigger than he realised, then he realised that whilst he was a great killer, he had a massive weakness he had not even realised was a weakness! That was the point I went from not liking him and then laughing at him to feeling sorry for him. His whole life could be ripped apart because he was doing his job and being manipulated.
@tatianalyulkin410
@tatianalyulkin410 10 месяцев назад

My heart is breaking. Look at him- how old is he- seven? Look at this body language- the way he runs to Cooper. It's not a scared little boy seeking comfort and safety in his father's arms! It's a man trying to ascertain that his father is indeed OK. He need his childhood back- he can be a third generation Brotherhood when he comes of age. I've seen this in real life in the children of Donbass.

RED... one of the best action flick I ever seen.. RED 2 a little less
@aeonise
@aeonise 6 дней назад
RED takes itself exactly the right amount of serious, and scenes like this make me think that is a lot harder to do than a pure comedy or pure action flick. There's a lot of tension and drama throughout here, but little nods to levity and absurdity ("Ultra Top Secret", Sarah's reaction) keep it from being too self-absorbed.

i will always remember watching Bruce Willis movies with my pop. he passed this year (jan 1st) and his fave actor is slowly losing his mind much like my own father did. It's a shitty thing so wee the face of the one you love yet know that in their mind they have NO CLUE who the hell this strange person is.

Been there myself. It’s a horrible feeling to watch someone you love simultaneously disappear and yet remain sitting there in front of you. My grandfather raised me. For all his faults he was a good man who did more for his community than they ever did for him. Towards the end he didn’t even know who I was. But at the very least I could comfort him as he died by playing the one thing he did recognize and helped him pass peacefully. His favorite music. And whenever I hear his favorite music is think of him and smile because on some level he’s still with me. So whenever you watch a Bruce Willis flick you think of your dad and smile. Because he’s never really gone. Because those memories are with you in those moments when you watched the movies. So hold onto those moments and always remember that joy you two shared.

The final shift was needed to show that Frank was still a dangerous predator. He knows how to make a point to ensure that Sara is unharmed. They were going to use Sara as leverage on him, so he flipped the tables around and showed he can do the same.

Unless you're the actual president and have the legal ability to declassify anything he wants. Not so much if you're the vice president or the secretary of state. just sayin.
@ColinFox
@ColinFox Год назад
@@TheHippiWitch Yes, the president can declassify things, but there is a process. He doesn't just get to wish it to happen. Any document that is going to be declassified has to go through a number of hands and a number of processes before it is fully released. He did none of these. And besides, the espionage act that he's being charged with doesn't require them to be classified docs, just docs that discuss defense plans, and they were there. Also trump had been asked to return the docs for a YEAR and he said that he'd given everything back. Swore, in fact, through a lawyer. But then they raided his place and saw that he lied - he still had over 100 boxes at maralago. So stop blinding yourself to the cult leader's criminality. Wake up, put down the coolaid and join the human race.
