What are your thoughts on the Alpine R Type Speakers 

How are you blowing the tweeters? I got the type r components & coaxials paired with the alpine type r r-a906. I feel it can hit louder or having higher highs in the tweeters.

@@junballs6576 honestly idk... As of right now I have type R components up front, and type x coax in the back, 4 6.5... tuned as high as I can and it's been doing good so far. The type R 2way coax 6x9 & 6.5 just didn't work for me the last year or so. The components are good tho. Now that I got that problem fixed, I'm going Type X 6x9 components up front soon, and upgrading the Amp. Somebody told me the Amp could be the reason I was blowing those speakers but the type x been hitting so far 🤷🏾‍♂️. Rd400/4. Cheap jl. Not sure if I'm going alpine amp or just better jl amp but I definitely want to put the component speakers on their own channel so I need 6 channels. I have jl tw1 12s under my back seat, they're ok. Upgrading those to tw3 12s eventually...

@@charlesford485Hope you can get it to work for ya. For my end I know this amp are made for them type r speakers. Getting a buddy of mines to help me out with my gains. I hope it's just need adjustments on the amp. Even if I got it professionally installed. But for the type X. Those are beast. Just too bad I can't justify spending a lot for just speakers. Maybe in the future. Lol.

Well that's a whole different story, we're talking about components in here. Subs are a whole different story
