I always appreciated Saatchi's interest in and support of emerging artists. I am, however, a bit sad to know that he seems to buy their work, thereby giving them status, then as the prices go up he sells them, and then repeats the process. I guess that the dreamer in me hoped that he loved and lived with the work and kept it. Ah well...
