Flagrant 2 is a comedy podcast that delivers unfiltered, unapologetic, and unruly hot takes directly to your dome piece. In an era dictated by political correctness, hosts Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, along with AlexxMedia and Mark Gagnon, could care less about sensitivities. If it’s funny and flagrant it flies. If you are sensitive this podcast is not for you. But if you miss the days of comedians actually being funny instead of preaching to a quire then welcome to The Flagrancy.

In the podcast realm, Schulz can be heard on the wildly popular THE BRILLIANT IDIOTS - co-hosted by nationally syndicated radio and television personality Charlamagne tha God - the hilarious sports commentary podcast FLAGRANT 2, and the film and TV analysis podcast WESTERBROS. He has made major appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, Bert Kreischer’s BERTCAST, Joey “coco” Diaz The Chuch of What’s Happening Now, and Theo Von’s This Past Weekend. He has even done solo interviews with the likes of Lil Duval and many others.
Andrew’s online presence has touched hundreds of millions of people across the globe and his unconventionally funny approach to the comedy world has launched him into stardome. His shows Dropping In and Inside Jokes will rack of hundreds of thousands of views weekly. Nothing is off limits for Schulz, from sex to race, and even the occasional audience heckler roast, Andrew is hungry to be the best. He can be seen in New York City performing regularly at New York Comedy Club and the Comedy Cellar.

Ayahuasca will show you a lot of things. The experience can be very profound personally and spiritually. The medicine comes with a lot of wisdom. However, it is also very powerful (the lion). It has the power to disrupt all your believes (the lion will eat part of you), your foundation can (partially) disappear. This is an opportunity as you can plant good seeds and habits, but it will also destabilize you. So if you do something like Ayahuasca, be careful. Dont take it lightly. Prepare yourself. Make sure you get support for your integration (after the ceremony).

The fact that this dude say things like ayauscha/DMT not being a psychedelic and how he draws such a big distinction between ayauscha and smoked DMT, shrooms and LSD, makes me not trust anything he says about this topic. He says psychedelics are substances that does not exist in the body, which has nothing to do with it being a psychedelic or not. Also entheogen has nothing to do with it being produced in the body, an etheogen is just a drug used for spiritual development, which LSD, mescaline and shrooms are.

Alot of the stuff this guy talks about I really vibrate with alot of what he says. I get constant feelings of gratitude for my family and my purpose is to them. Goals are different. Always getting feelings and frequencies and I feel very connected to my ancestors and the rebellious spirit in my family tree and country. I crave for this next awakening as i feel the need to express love to the earth and feel this kind of journey would help me communicate with the stars but as always the money is the issue. I don't want to misuse medicine alone. I know alot of this might sound corny to alot of you but I might as well go deeper, Ever since I can remember I have dreamed in colour, other than a couple of nightmares that have since been healed, I started dreaming in oranges and purple as a kid and then towards teenage years the colours turned red, in recent years my colours have focused green. Just this year I attributed these colours to the chakras which would mean I'm grounded as that's green. Anyone that got this far I got love for You, I'm sitting bare feet in the grass sending prayers your way, I hope to have a conversation with you when we are reborn as stars. Heheh

Bruh Schultz love and care for his brother really showed through to me in this conversation. His desperation to help him is everything man. I didn't like that the shaman could fix his schizophrenia. I know what he was meaning but someone who is dealing with insecurities of mental health could take that out of context. I think Schultz handled all his claims with an open mind and accepted what he could.. This was a god damn great talk.

Andrew I would be very wary of this guy and shaman culture in general, especially after hearing his thoughts around schizophrenia - your concern there is valid. Get varied perspectives. I *highly* recommend speaking with Hamilton Morris. The way Omar spoke about DMT, psilocybin, LSD and other substances I found red flaggish. Which type of DMT was he referring to? N,N-Dimethyltryptamine? If so, that specifically is used in the process of preparing ayahuasca. Another noteworthy thing is it seems he meant to say endogenous instead of entheogenic in a point he was trying to make, which is a distinction that changes what his argument is, as all of the above substances are entheogens, and some are arguably or completely endogenous as well. Rather than just taking his word at "LSD scrambles up your brain", speak with neuropharmacologists and chemists who can actually tell you what happens as objectively as possible, *both* positive and negative aspects. Also, in addition to experts, find varied examples of users- they can't all be "fried old hippies". What about people like Alexander Shulgin? This shaman guy does not appear to know which of these substances are actually similar to each other in terms of chemical composition, which is something you should understand before making some of the claims he does. Be wary of anyone who does not question themselves at all, and shrugs off your questions with any variation of "you just don't/can't/aren't evolved enough to get it" instead of exploring them with you. He speaks of ayahuasca humbling people and how he has consumed it numerous times, but does he sound humble? He has no hesitation or problem invalidating the decades of hard work, research, and efforts of people that have dedicated their entire professional lives to figuring out things like schizophrenia. He speaks as if schizophrenia is no big deal, and people are just dumber/less evolved than he is. He makes unfounded claims like there is no such thing as an non-ayahuasca shaman, but there are self proclaimed shamans that work with all kinds of substances, and that's no secret. Speaking of which, he didn't even mentioned Iboga. His logic is inconsistent- he talked about one of the most valuable aspects of ayahuasca is that it teaches you to trust yourself, not second guess yourself, steer yourself, follow your intuition on your journey, and have "singular thought". But then also says you cannot do so in a valid way without a shaman- what makes this person's interpretation and response any more true than yours? What makes him an inherent authority? What makes him any better than you? His biased, unquestioning, unempathetic, condescending judgement, lack of sensitivity to things like schizophrenia and arrogance around it are all things he's entitled to have, but that make him a very poor informational/educational resource. I wonder how this guy would respond if god forbid someone experience a psychotic break while working with him, and he can't just blow it away. Be wary of anyone who has nothing more to learn. Be wary of anyone who generically typecasts people, like "tech bros"- that is the easiest, most disingenuous shallow way to see individual humans, and he is supposedly on some other advanced spiritual level who is apparently destined to heal people. Does he seem caring? Another person whose perspective could be useful is an MD named Dr. Joseph Tafur who underwent a traditional apprenticeship with the Shipibo studying ayahuasca healing: www.drjoetafur.com/

@user-my9ok1nz1j
@user-my9ok1nz1j 3 года назад
@@betofpv 100%. I'm really surprised Andrew didn't feel like this guy was trying to "sell him on it"... I guess he's quite an impressionable guy. It's worth noting that Hamilton Morris, in addition to his vast scientific and experiential expertise, also unfortunately personally experienced a good friend have a psychotic break while tripping with them (which they never came back from), and I bet he's looked into that area quite heavily. The age range things like schizophrenia tend to onset in people who are predisposed to have it is often the age range people begin to experiment with substances, which can make researching this area tricky. Shamans are often very egotistical, I wonder what would happen if Andrew got a bunch of them in the same room and made a podcast.
