About 20 years was driving from Dhaka to Chittagong during night ! While driving, my local host showed me lights about 10 km away and told me it is Tripura !

6:55 that is dialect not accent. am a bengali from west bengal and I do not understand other bengalis as well , the common bangladeshi language (dhaka one I guess) we do understand many things but not completely.

Most of my bangladeshi friends told me that bangladeshis absolutely hate India and Indians. Here in India people don't really think about Bangladesh but Bangladeshis passionately discuss about India. They feel shy infront of camera.

Idk, *Bangladesh is quite confusing* considering they speak Bengali dialects but they're mostly islamic be it their constitution or religion or names. It's actually quite astonishing that Bangladesh faught against Pakistan as they didn't accept Pakistan's forced culture, religion, language etc but after independence, they immediately accepted what they faught against and discarded democracy and created an islamic state. *I don't mind any of it but its quite confusing and contrasting, as I said above.* I think, their History and religious Politics is a bit distorted and extreme although not as much as Pakistan but the declining minorities in both these countries are a common trend. Bangladesh is people Republic of Bangladesh, a democratic country, not an Islamic state. Just because the largest number of people in Bangladesh are Muslims, doesn't make it an Islamic state.

Remember 1971 india 🇮🇳 Pakistan 🇵🇰 war when Bangladesh 🇧🇩 got created ! I am from Kolkata and remember Kolkata with cars with than East Pakistan numbers roaming freely !
