Haters are going to hate. Sydnie is one of the best artists I have heard in a very long time. She wasn't known before this episode....leave her alone people. Go Sydnie. I wish we in America could vote. You'd have my vote.
Someone who has preformed on broadway or in music videos or with supporters does NOT mean they have “made it”. She has every right to compete as an amateur. People who criticize are those whom aren’t competing! Sydnie is INCREDIBLE.
There is no such thing as an overnight success. It's done through sacrificing, hard work and determination,plus a God-given gift. Do you really think all the great singers just stepped out on a stage, belted out a song and bam there they were? How many names today do people recognize and appreciate their talents, were back up singers were studio players? You really have to be living under a rock if you heard Sidney's voice the first time and said Wow first time to sing?" No, that is the work hard work and termination. But if it wasn't for this, the world's stage of BGT/AGT she'd probably still be plugging away doing what she's doing and I agree with what Simon said ..."for all of those in the past that have heard that voice and didn't give her a chance. They should be shamed.." so let's hope, and we know it will come true that Simon and his people will giver the over the rainbow journey that she's so deserves.
It is ridiculous for people to complain. Sydnie is someone that 95% of have never heard of. The performance that she gave us was an incredible display of the power of her voice and her ability to perform. She is an amazing force on the stage! I can’t wait to see her again!
Literally like no one complained when Loren Allred who was the real singing voice behind a character in the Greatest Showman but for Sydnie people complain. I’ve also seen professional dancers which have appeared in other tv shows as professional dancers and not just a contestant on a tv show also appear on Canada’s got Talent such as Briar Nolet who also acted in a CBBC show but also many others
She is my cousin. She’s wanted this since she was 3 years old. She used stand on a chair and sing at our family Christmas meal 😂 She’s been working her socks off since then! She is the embodiment of ’hard work pays off’. Go on, Syd!

The key word here is "LITTLE" career . Does this mean anyone wit unbelievable God given talent has no right to try and make it a larger career? I thought the basis of BGT was to give talent a stage where they could be dicovered.If that is not what BGT was trying to do then why have to program at all ? Sydnie is just so AMAZING ! I looked her up and don't understand why she didn't choose a more powerful song. I've heard her sing like a seasoned pro and hold very high notes , a very professional singer. This song was not close to what I've heard come out of her.

The bottom line is before her audition, millions of people had no idea who Sydnie Christmas was. Now after her audition, millions of people absolutely know who Sydnie Christmas is...mission accomplished! I sincerely hope she wins it all!

Sydnie is a beautiful and very talented young artist. She has a wonderful and confident personality, and she has a God gifted vocal range. Sydnie's previous experience is something called work. She is climbing the ladder toward her goals. I give her my respect and support. Keep climbing Sydnie, and you will achieve your goals.
Who cares about her past experiences ?? She is an absolute doll with a stunning voice and an infectious personality. She's a refreshing addition this year.
Believe me, I have absolutely no jealousy towards last year's winner. I thought he was very funny and a worthy winner. But as for Sydnie, I preferred the blind singer. But Simon made sure to get rid of her to fix the win for Sydnie. I think BGT is in decline now with these shenanigans.
Historically in these talent shows, there have been a lot of singers who have had some experience, while some others are told to get some lessons and come back another year. Sydnie has earned her place and, personally, I hope she bloody wins it!
A professional singer who still was working as a receptionist in a gym! Enough said. Professional experience or not, she deserves her place as she has raw talent as an everyday person. Just because she’s pursued her passion in her life and performed before doesn’t mean she’s not deserving. So many other contestants have. She earned her place and deserves a win just as anyone else.

Sydnie has come a long way since those performances on cruise ships in musicals. Her interpretation and vocal control has truly grown. You can't sustain a life aboard a ship for a long time so she would have had to come back to reality and work the everyday jobs to make ends meet. In the meantime she's obviously hoping to be properly exposed for her great talent and this is the platform she has chosen. She could have chosen to build up a RU-vid career with followers but instead she chose this. Good for her. I hope she does really well and gets to make beautiful music with proper benefits in the not-too-distant future.

Never heard of the lass, then heard her sing, fully deserves being the winner. The clue is in the programme title...Britain's Got Talent, it is not called Britain's got undiscovered talent.
Well duh you can’t have a voice that good and also the desire to make a career of it and not have some small amount of success. However that’s not the dream. It’s to make it big and be successful and these shows are the perfect opportunity❤️
She is so amazing! It doesn't matter if she's done performances already. She was working at a gym when she auditioned. She is an incredible talent and deserves everything she's getting. I wish her continued success.

She mentioned backstage that she had never received a reaction before that was like she got at BGT. That was clearly a reference she had performed before audiences before. I had never heard of her until she auditioned at BGT. She is a fabulous singer. She deserved to win. More power to her.
Obviously she didn’t come out of completely nowhere. But she is of a caliber of talent, I’m glad she graced the BGT stage and got a lot more exposure. She took a world class stage and brought the house down. Good for her and exciting to see it happen for her. She went for it. She conquered.
I now know this beautiful soul with the most amazing voice. I wish i could attend her shows and enjoy this non forgiving voice that rips your heart out of the hiding place and cleanse it softly and put it back. What a voice❤❤❤❤
It's a contest show...she took a chance as many others have....some have talent...some don't.... Talented people are what the show wants to find regardless of what else they have done on a stage
It's called Britain's got talent ...(forget the foreign entries) she's British and she's in Britain , never once was it said that this show was only for amateurs !
I think it's funny and Simon said it in his initial reaction, he said "it's really hard to get that initial break especially for something you really love" and even the name doesn't say "Regular Britain Got Talent" it says Britain Got Talent. For every noticed performer there are thousands performing on stages around the world that want to be noticed. You use whatever means you can to be noticed too. Susan Boyle performed in all kinds of places before BGT. Every so often there is 'nothing to everything' performer but these shows don't make promises either.
Most contestants stared in something else, So What. Sydnie Has a Beautiful Voice ans my favorite an Excellent Personality. Now maybe she'll get Starring Rolls!!💯😘...

I had NO idea who she was until I watched her on RU-vid a short time ago. The fact that she had training and experience as a singer does not take away from her enormous talent. I'm amazed by her singing!! Truly wonderful!!
She has a wonderful voice, great personality, and touches all ages with her emotional, powerful interpretations of well known classics. I hope she has a long career ahead of her. In terms of being a loved favourite she could easily become the "New Cilla".
The show is called Britains Got Talent not Britains got talented amateurs? How many viewers knew about her? I didn't. Not sure why she is being highlighted, the show has had top class Magicians that clearly should be in Vegas that don't practice their acts in the bedroom at home. Let's have it Sydnie. Leading lady in the West End I will definately buy tickets. ❤
It seems there are always those people who want to say the worst, to bring people down .People who deliberately want to find something negative. I prefer thinking the best of people and giving chances. I see nothing wrong in reaching out for an opportunity to reach a broader audience. This provided more people to hear her. Great job and so glad that we all have a chance to listen to her beautiful voice. She seems quite genuine. I hope she has a great career ahead of her❤😊🙏
Seriously if someone is that good, and Sydnie Christmas is really that good, do you think she would have no experience, that she has just been hiding away to be "discovered" by BGT. Its hard to make it professionally. She may have some early breaks and is now struggling to make it. It all depends on timing and opportunities. Good luck to her if she has this opportunity on BGT and gets to be seen by a larger audience. She absolutely deserves it.
