Yo I saw the Eye Poke on an IG reel and i was just shocked, it was obviously on purpose and let us be real, that was not a foul that was straight up assault and reminded me of the nasty plays Bruce Bowen used to pull, where he would run up on rebounds and place his foot underneath big guys, so that they could fall down on his foot and twist their ankle and possibly destroy their whole career. That kind of thing has not place in sportsmanship and the racism of the league just let it happen. Hell, even NBA players commented on how she got treated and even they were sick of it, this was not "This is how we treat rookies" thing, Antman does not have to fear that some NBA player will try to injure him or poke his damn eyes out.
I’d have to say it was jealousy and racism that drove her away. It was always a person of color hammering on her. I’m not sure the girls that play in the WNBA are that interested in basketball. They all seem to have other things going in the background. I think Clark was focused on the game.
This player didn’t succeed because of race. She was assaulted and insulted because of race. Personally, I am sick of people using race as the reason they don’t succeed at various endeavors. Take race off of government forms, remove it from hiring applications, let applicants rise or fall based on ability. It’s time. Caitlyn will be successful regardless of where her life takes her. Why? Not because she is white, black or whatever, but because she has the heart of a lion on the court. She is bold and fearless, and skills beyond compare. She has a great future before her. There is no telling what all she will do. She has grown up to be a wonderful young woman. She is an encouragement to most people. She is a great example to our children. She is very resistant to succumbing to evil given her drive to provide good enjoyment to all she meets. Caitlin may not fully know Jesus but she has turned her heart and her mind over to Him. Like it happens to all of us, there will be some bad days. Hopefully, very few.
