How much does it cost to rent a one-bedroom or three-bedroom apartment in cities like Tashkent Bukhara or Samarkand? Is it as expensive as in Almaty or Bishkek?
As a person who went there few months ago I’d definitely recommend going there for anyone who wants to travel Asia sometime. It’s very cheap and beautiful country. But I believe this is Samarkand u went. Because I have been there and it was quite nice! If I rate it I would give it 8/10! I didn’t quite liked the car road plus there was a lots of traffic bc of how much cars actually existed there. But it’s quite alright Uzbekistan yaakshii eakaan? (I don’t know if I spelled correctly bc there was an lady who thought me some of uzbekish words but I didn’t really understand them lmao)
Cause y'all can make around 15-20 an hour just being a waiter there whilst try doing the same in Uzbekistan the most you'll earn is gonna be 3-4 dollars a day max

If you visit us,people respect you like their father. I promise we have really strict police nobody nobody can touch you. But you shouldnt go to Tashkent,the capital of Uzbekistan nothing there to see. You should go to Samarqand city Bukhara city Xiva city historical places and the guy in the video showed these places.

“A ticket entrance to this lovely square” literally a world heritage site along the former silk roads that was a historic place of math, science and commerce 😍 Uzbekestan is def on my travel list. I’ve met 3 people from there before. Sounds and looks like an amazing place!

A 6 by 12 foot big painting that took years to complete by a famous artist like Danvinci, compared to a square in a poor country.. it's difference between art and..art. @@Lubin-md4ml I don't think it's fair to write off a historically significant location just because it's in what is now a poor country. You'd be writing off much of ancient history if that were the case.
@@Lubin-md4ml Samarkand has epic history. It used to be a very prosperous place. Look it up. It’s older than Rome. Was last conquered by Alexander the Great. Poets and historians called it “The Pearl of the Eastern Muslim World.” It was one of the most important cities along the Silk Road trade route between China and the Mediterranean. There used to be a school of mathematics and astronomy there that students would come from all over to study at with famous mathematics and astronomers of the times. And those rocks are actually covered in absolutely stunning tile work. Oh, if these walls could talk! 😍 I am super into business, math and science. Perhaps you’re more into art?

Also Samarkand was made the way it is largely due to the psychopath timur who burned down Damascus and Aleppo but kidnapped all their artisans to Samarkand so they could build him something wondrous

I was there for a week about 15 years ago. I made a 7 day stopover, at no extra charge, on Uzbekistan Airlines between Thailand and Europe. The whole country is beautiful. At that time, not much in the way of quality restaurants, I hope it's better now.
f something is cheap it doesnot mean poor As hospitality for tourists in Uzbekistan, many things are cheapened, and I must say that you can't buy pilaf for $1, but even entrance tickets to historical places are free in some places.
@lw1xwyd828 Uzbekistan isnt that much poor, just prices are more fair in many parts of it. ave salary in country for a month is $350-$650 , I know it is 10 times lower than in nyc but still the prices in NYC are 12 times bigger than in Tashkent and 24 times higher than n many parts of Uzbekistan, so it can really beuncomfortable to live in some of the wealthiest cities for people too.

Pilaw, self made, ingredients and all around 4€ 1,5kg of bread ? ~4€ Entrance to something fancy pavillon ? 5€+ Kebab like he had ? 20€+ Hot cup of tea ? 4€ Ride with camel ? 5 minutes for 10€ or 1 hour for 65€ he payed 6 bucks. i'd pay at least 52€ ... but 5 min on a camel is lame so i'd shell out 112€ ... flight would be 600€ *uzbekistan hits the bucketlist*
Hey, I'm local, and all of it costs way more... even if per item. The dish, for example, is no less than $2-3, the same goes for kebab and the ride. Dunno tho, maybe he really found those magical prices😂
Also makes it pretty easy for any business owner to rip off his employees, or not pay them at all. You know, like it did in America before the 1930s great recession 😐!
Some people assume that Uzbekistan is not safe and you may get robbed, but the truth is it is one of the safest countries in the world. People there are very friendly, food is delicious. It is an historical country, with a lot of traditions. If you ever go there, visit their weddings, you will be amazed. 🎉 and make sure to visit Samarkand and Bukhara cities, they are beautiful. And yes it is cheap, but not that cheap, for $1 you can probably buy one or two very delicious meals.
Uzbekistan should keep out multinational capitalist agencies if it knows what's good for its people. Just take a look at the chaos and systemic impoverishment that unbridled capitalist greed has brought to the West.
I feel some of the things are fairly priced.. For instance, in East Africa Pilau costs between 70 cents to $1.5 dollar and tea without milk if the cheapest even 10cents...a camel ride is also 50 cents-$1

Yes to visit , but make sure you don't over paid for anything compare to local resident Because if you overpaid for anything, you will Create inflation to average middle class or low income uzbekistanian ... If they paid 80 cent , paid also 80 cents and not 1.00 or even 90 cents Even if you try to be generous, do it separate transaction
Funny fact, I traveled to Uzbekistan in March 2013, spent 4 hours clearing customs to enter the city because I had 7k in cash , mostly in $20 and $100 bills, they had to write serial numbers down of every banknote! By hand! And gave me a piece of paper saying if I wanted to leave Uzbekistan with any cash, notes will have to match numbers of certificate! What!!! I was stunned. And no one accepted cards, only cash. I had to walk literally with backpack full of cash 😅
I'm Russian, have visited Uzbekistan for two times as a guest, and was really impressed with how cheap and healthy their food is...most veggies and fruits in our supermarkets are exported from Uzbekistan & Tajikistan, and they're relatively cheap even in Russia, but there such food costs almost nothing. Literally the best place in the world to live a healthy life, the climate and nature are also amazing. Highly recommend y'all to visit this country at least once, that's a wonderful place to see as a tourist.
