Not agreeing with you sir! Lived more than 8 months in Ecuador and it felt more expensive. Taxi drive from GYE to Santa Rosa - 100$. Yes, 60 lemons cost 1$ but you cannot buy 6. You need to buy 60. Checking air in your tires = 1$ (in USA = 0$). KFC for 2 people 11-12$. In Poland 12,50$ for 4 people. Pepsi, milk also more expensive. And shoes!! Anyway... I guess I simulated non-trourist life...
