0:20 I'm wondering if Boomba doesn't see the illusion. Humans can be near sighted or farsighted, so why not cats? If Boomba is far sighted enough, he may not see the illusion. Clearly the other cats see it. As a kid I had white long hair Persian like Boomba and he had to be the most stupid cat I'd ever seen. We think he may have actually been DD. Once I heard him yowling in deep distress. He was in the yard when the sprinklers came on, Ever direction he tried to run he'd just get more wet, so he just hunkered down and started to pretend he was being tortured to death. A sweet and affectionate cat, but incredible stupid. Loved him all the more. When I was moving to a new place that did not allow pets I had our vet find him a new home. An older woman had just lost her cat so Mac brought my cat out in a carrier, set him down by the lady and opened the carrier. Without hesitation he jumped into the woman's lap. It was a perfect match.
My question is. Won't that cut away at their instincts. Now they see a real hole, they, will now try to walk over it. And fall in instead. With them thinking it was a rug, Lol, I don't know. I'm just thinking out loud. 😊👍🏻✌🏽
Could be. Idk and I'm not sure about this experiment either but someone prior to me mentioned doing this to men. I'm all for that. Let them fall into a hole instead of a cat. LMFAO Oh and I love these cats...
@valdiviana1 I was thinking as if it were an indoor/outdoor cat. That is correct when it comes to an indoor cat. Where would they find a hole? Like I said, I was thinking out loud. 😊
i love cats so seeing cats makes my day i have two black cats well at least one that i got on January,4th,2024 and her name is shadow and my other black cat well hes gone i miss him his name was midnight [well then shadows in my room]
That "hole"optical...why would you want them not to be trusting their visual perceptions? I have had many many kitties and I find trying to force them unacceptable. None of my white cats were the brightest bulb in the box either ..lol.
