Interesting that B&M has been working on this train design for a while, I wonder if it'll make its way onto thrill coasters. Is B&M finally gonna enter the thrill multilaunch market? I'm super excited to see!

there is one thing about "the fear about making a ride too scary for kids": mostly its just the look of the ride that scares most (if its tall, impressive and agressive looking) but then the ride itself is not as scary and I've seen lots of young kids (where most think they should ride family coasters) rather try more intense rides. Once they get over the scary look, they are not afraid of the big rides, and only those scared of the stomach drop remain. Thats why you see more kids on intense coasters (like indoor coasters) where you dont see those passages. On Taron for example, it visually doesnt look scary, and I see lots of small kids there

this is true, but when we're talking 42", that can be a 3-4 year old. The 'overcoming that fear' that you're referring to MOST of the time doesn't occur until they get around 48", aka around 6-8 years old

It's also like when rides have longer layouts, so like Revolution at Blackpool Pleasure Beach (an Arrow Shuttle Loop) is quite a lot more intense than Icon (a MACK Multi-Launch) but since icon has like a 2 minute layout, when Revolution lasts like 30 seconds, most kids are gonna be more likely to choose Revolution

@@maxhagenauer24 omg my brain completely forgot about kraken. i think becuause we were just there and it was closed. but i agree. kraken is top tier floorless. so yeah 3 above average. i was just disappointed in pipeline. first launch is solid. bunny pop was fun. turn around in the back is solid. first airtime hill is solid but not that great. corkscrew was good. but after that was almost a waste. best part is the ejector pop right at the end before the turn into the brakes/block, seats were okay. didnt really like standing and this comes from a Mantis at cedar point lover. just left a bad taste in my mouth and no one wanted to ride it again after. so i did again. and was just like ehh. i hope they go more intense with that model or a new element or just move on from it. its not that special. its gimmmick to try and be different. that was cool 20 years ago on the old model. i vote lets have trhe bugatti of train model and have luxury seating. comfort. custom. clean. space. ice breaker trains were some of the worst ive ever got into...and im not a big guy

I'm glad the park is getting a true traditional family coaster and that SeaWorld is incorporating the animal exhibits into the rides. While I understand that they are trying to deemphasize the animal aspects due to shifting public opinion, the fact is that they are still fundamentally marine life parks that use marine life as their central theme for all attractions. I've always loved that Manta uses the aquarium with manta rays for its queue. It just makes sense. And it gives you something cool to look at while waiting in line. I think it would have been really cool to add a Nile Crocodile exhibit in the queue for Iron Gwazi when it opened at BGT. It would have fit the aesthetic for that queue line very well.

Speaking of Iron Gwazi, while im pretty sure it would've been kinda expensive to remove footers from original gwazi, there is absolutely ZERO things that look like theming during ride. While its a very great coaster, the theming wise seems like something six flags would do, but then after seeing Pantheon it puts me kind of disappointed. Glad to see more themed additions coming though to BGT.

@@JGames35 I agree. BGT is pretty light with the on ride theming (except with Cobra's Curse) but they do often add something interesting for the on ride visuals. For Kumba it's the landscaping, for Montu it's the trench designs, for Sheikra it's the towers and foliage and of course Cheetah Hunt has a lot going on visually that sets a thematic mood without strictly being an immersive theme. I think they felt that the structure itself on Iron Gwazi would be the spectacle, similar to Steel Vengeance. But Steel Vengeance is a Cedar Point ride where all theming is lose if not non-existent. Iron Gwazi could have done a bit more that focused on animals. I think use of water would have done a lot of good as well as maybe some tunnels with a cool lighting effect. I wouldn't expect them to turn it into an immersive Disney or Universal type attraction. But having an animal exhibit in the queue and some general hints at nature during the on ride experience would have been very cool. But it's still a fantastic ride. These comments are more just about SeaWorld in general and appreciating a better focus on theming.

One thing I want this ride to do when the train hits the final brake is play the song "Antarctica: One World, One Family " by Lauren Alaina. That was mt favorite part of the former Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin ride.

The scary part of rides is perpetuated by the local news stations on media day. Instead of saying the ride is Fun, the reporter will throw it back to the studio, and the news anchors will say they're scared and won't go on it. Sea World needs to put a bunch of signs around the ride saying this is a fun coaster. Show people getting off the ride saying they want to go again.

This ride will hopefully help people get over that fear of rides. If they see this, Pipeline, Mako etc have the same track type they might ride Penguin and be more confident riding the others with similar track.

Isn't that almost exactly the current era Intamin/Mach restraint? I mean i get why they would take inspiration from it. That restraint is pretty much as good as it gets. If only they had come up with it before Skyrush.

Not like B&M from a business prospective. Also there’s not a single flaw in their lineup all of their coasters are completely different from each other and Mako is far in away the best coaster in Orlando and 2nd best in Florida behind Gwazi. Pipeline has prove to be a significant success and the general public love it as well.
