Wow! Tons of stuff to do there. Use to drive a road truck cross country and we had a terminal at Painted Post. Hauled Corning Ware, Fire Trucks, and loved just walking around that wonderful little town.
Yes, there is a lot of great stuff in that area. And so much open land to play in ! Forests, trails, ski resorts, all seasons and all fun !Thanks for the comment.
Last fall my wife and I were camping at chenango valley state park in Binghamton we took a day trip to Corning and had a great day. We didn't see the wings of Eagles discovery center, I will try to see that this fall when we go to letchworth state park. Thanks for pointing this out it looks like a nice place to visit and I'm looking forward to seeing that A10 warthog myself. Keep up the videos it's so nice to see all these places in our home state.
You could spend a lifetime exploring all the neat things in NY. If you go to Letchworth, don't miss the Warbird Museum in Geneseo. Its only 8 miles from Letchworth !
Another great video of attractions that are a "must see" if you live in NY. i was surprised the boys were able to get into the Soaring Museum. I've been told that I have family buried in Corning, now I'm wondering if this is the cemetery?
Thee are a few cemeteries in the Area. If they were in the Elmira Corrections facility that would be a seperate cemetery... :-) . The boys and I got to most of the museums before they were actually opened and so they were let in becuase we were really just runing through. Spent maybe 10 minutes total in the place... And they are extremely well behaved. They would have waited outside if I had told them too, but the worker said they appeared better behaved than many of the paying patrons !!
easy to do a good vidieo when you have good materal you should come to oshkosh and see the air adventure musuem it is full of experematal aircraft it is the headquaters of rhe EAA
I took my sons there about.. oh.. maybe 18 years ago. They got to crank down the wings on a corsair !! So neat !! I will be going back in the next 3 years, just not sure when. I Almost took a Job in De Moines.. I would have been there all the time !! Thanks for the comment !!

its now a goast town marty just sold out was my dads friend my grandma peggy past in 2017 was the cook at peries central resturant for 80 years that shutt down top is shut down landos was shut down before pandemic etc someone needs to buy back the town and make it nice again its sad grew up here everyone is on durgs cant affored houseing and now now jobs its kinda getting sick theirs nothing keeping us runing no more its a goast town
