i would just buy the lego one, yesterday i was building a knockoff lego set of the aston martin f1 and it was a unbelievable pain to build that, i wouldnt recommend ever buying a knockoff lego set @@RetroAlex125
I just finished building the generic branded Technic Porsche RSR. it was about $50 about 1/3 or 1/4 LEGO. I have to admit I was impressed!! Is it LEGO quality? No, but its extremely close. The bricks all fitted quite well. Maybe a few bricks required a bit more muscle to push in but for $100 less it's 100% worth it!!!
Its amazing how Lego sells you the most expensive cardboard in the market. Lets be real, The differences in both sets are minimum, Just in some sets, The box is the difference. I have the Lamborghini Sian and the Titanic set from AliExpress and from the original Lego. And its the SAME. it looks the Same in the shelf. Its amazing how you Pay almost $500 in just a Box ( in the Titanic Set. The fake one came without the box. And its just 90 - 100 dollars) I'm still buying original Lego sets, but is because I collect the boxes, but bro, I'm paying the price of a PS5 with the Elden Ring DLC for a piece of Cardboard that probably in 15 years I'm gonna threw it to the garbage
Not really, only the development took all the money, but it's really cheap to make after everything's done. Especially the amount of plastic used per set is around 60 dollars
Definitely looks like the knock off is good enough for the price. Even if you have a couple pieces that dont fit just right you could always replace those few parts with genuine lego parts and have a better outcome.
The only thing that prevented me from buying replicas years ago was the quality. They have come a long way now and the quality has improved so much that I don’t see the need to get the over-priced genuine sets anymore, especially with these super cars, they look and feel so good.
@@ResumenExpress The Lego set costs over $600 here while the knockoff, which now comes with improved packaging, a coloured instruction book, some 7 or 8 seperate bags inside 3 boxes inside one beautiful matte box that looks almost identical to Lego, all for a price of $55. One would be mad to waste their hard-earned money on the genuine at that ridiculous price.
I got two knock offs, a Porsche 911 RSR and Ferarri 488 GTE, I got them for almost £15 each in the Philippines. I have no complaints about the quality, but I had to use the digital instructions from lego because I couldn't understand the instructions given with the knockoffs. I also had to use a screwdriver to enlarge the holes on some parts so the pins could actually connect. Other than that, they still look as good as the originals.
To be honest why would u spend around €500 for this an the knock off one is perfectly fine. I can’t bring myself to spend that amount on a model. Why can’t they be remote control? The knock off Lamborghini is remote control on Ali express for half the cost of the real Lego one it’s crazy. If Ali express can do it for half the price why can’t the Lego company do it. Id definitely buy if it was remote control.
I just finished mine a few weeks ago. Its all great except… the tires are too big. They fit a little loose. I ordered a few from Lego and the new ones fit perfectly.
For the 1/10 of the prices you should not complain about all the flaw as they are not really there just minor, its a game changer how they produce such quality for such low price.
Went back to China for the summer, saw it on a toy store shelf, bought it, built it, and brought it back to home. Definitely worth it if you're a car & Lego enthusiast, but don't expect for anything to work. The axle ball joint piece for the paddle shifting broke on first try, and all the gears got stripped because they can't withstand the twisting. Nothing works smoothly but looks good on the shelf. All of the colors are off and the rims came cracked. Got mine for about 700 chinese yen, or 140$ cad.
I bought one from ali express, 4 missing pieces. But my god, incredible in quality, no issues and well built. Only cost me £55. Plus £6 shipping. Came in 10 days
It is because the quality is cheaper, sure you might think the knock off is bad because of cheaper quality but for that price it’s a steal, bang for your buck
i did better purchase knock off , first no fucking way I will spend inr 49000 on a toy and second knockoff or not it gets shipped in my country with cheaper import
I forgot the name of the store in Bangkok that mostly sold fake Legos but you can try search it online or buy it at small-medium toy stores. Some Tesco also sold them so do check them out
@@noobmusician3091 There are advantages with Thailand being a developed country, the toy market has a lot of players from China, South Korea, and Western countries 😁 If you still can't find it, try searching at Central. A friend of mine just got one at one of Central stores in Phuket
