What can you get from Scrapping an A/C unit?

Hey bud, if you break those electric motors on down, its a lot better money. Here, #1 is $3.25 and #2 is $3.00 per lb. I even break down the ac condenser and get all the copper pipe out and sell it as a pile of copper and a pile of aluminum.

There's money in I tore one completely apart even removed dirty metal from fins and cut copper tunes off

went to my yard last week with a hige stack of those radiators and they wanted to give me a hard time saying i needed papers for them, ive brought loads of them. they made me put them with the steel if i wanted cash.

I am not allowed to scrap ac units, fridges or freezers because they have to be bled first, by a certified company. How do you get rid of the coolants in those devices?
