Some clarification about Kimba: the anime came out before lion king. It's called Jungle Emperor (Kimba the white lion is the English title) and the main character's name is actually Leo in the Japanese version. It was first claimed that the Lion King ripped off the anime, but it's not the case.
@@luliu4572 you're right, the movie did release 3 years after the lion king (although the story was already covered in the manga, I think). So it was funny seeing people compare clips of tlk with it when saying tlk ripped off Kimba.
Zolushka (Золушка) is really just Cinderella retold in a more Russian manner, like folk tales and other stories follow the same plot yet still have their own differences mattering on who tells it.
They are cool. Bogat'yr (plural bogaty'ri) - the key figure of Russian folklore, and they are most often Captain America. True, Cinderella has the same plot (the father is really alive, but does not appear at all). The best "our version" (older than Disney's asf) is Beauty and the Beast, we have a Scarlet Flower there. The plot is just something.
@@sytchnoth too bad Мельница (Melnicha??? Windmill, if translated) makes bogaty'ri more and more like a joke. I analyzed every film (except for the last one, since at the time it wasn't made) as a project for school. I analyzed what children can learn from it... There's so much wrong in itXD
I'm gonna fuckin batter every single one of these fuckin commenters there cannot be people behind them its a govermment ai spamming them in every section
I'm gonna f-ing batter every single one of these f-ing commenters there cannot be people behind them its a govermment ai spamming them in every section
It's not a ripoff. The clips of Kimba you see online are from a shitty film that has nothing to do with the original comic or cartoon. The film was released after The Lion King. Y'all got fooled
Sorry for gramatical errors english isnt my First languange 1Kimba is a an animated series with more episodes than one piece is like sayng: the Simpsons do it before 2 The charachtaers that looks like the lyon king king have totaly diferent personalitis and most of them apears in only one episode for example the lyon that look like scar isnt the bad guy or kimba uncle is just a random animal if you dont believe me you can read what i said in a book made by the original creator of kimba
They’re just different people ways to tell the story. None of them are spin-offs. We don’t really do that in Russia (there are of course rippoffs in every country but we’ll animated and old looking cartoons like that arents spn offs or rip-off’s at all.)
Sam looks like the stereotype of a straight white man just like max said it he's the type of guy to pull up at the holocaust and say some fact about it and say pretty cool right?
Yes and it was a series, not a movie which had its own contained conflics in episodes while the lion king is one movie with a overarching storyline which has absolutely nothing to do with kimba. Kimba is its own series and its not bad for what it is, and its really sad seeing tezukas legacy as an artist only being relevant and popular because of people being misinformed. I could tell you way more but instead ill refer you to a video called "YMS: kimba the white lion".
Actually, Jungle Emperor Leo existed before The Lion King, so The Lion King is the ripoff in this case, as the manga was released in 1950, the TV series in 1965, the film in 1966, the OVA in 1991, and only then was The Lion King released
Fun fact, The Lion King is actually a ripoff of Jungle Emperor Leo. The Lion King came out in 1994, but Jungle Emperor Leo came out in 1960, and the stories are very similar.
Bullshit, there's a whole video that debunks that age old lie. The plots are extremely different. Kimba was a manga then a show with a completely different plot. The kimba movie came 3 years after the Lion King.

The Legend of Luck Pie is actually a completely separate show. It was heavily inspired off of adventure time but had its own plot and cast of characters. The creators were very passionate about the show, and had plans to make much more of the show but it was cancelled before it could gain any traction.
Jungle Emperor Leo (Kimba) is actully made before lion king so lion king you can actully say is the ripoff. Kimba the White Lion, series:1965 the lion king, movie:1997 and Disney was sent a cease and desist letter when the put a movie out in 1997 but they still able to show it but after that was the last time seen in north America but still made show after you should check them all out. edit* just search it up
I remember the 7 handsome warriors. One is pride, the other is lust, and another one is gluttony and sloth and the punching bag of the friends, the other one is wrath and greed.
For the people wondering why the dad is alive in the Russian cideralla, *She actually has an affair with her father and while watching the movie it is subtle but noticeable.* Edit: They banned the original movie in many places and put out a edited one twice (first one had the affair hints) The unedited is truly disgusting with all the sexual tension between Cinderella and her father and it's difficult to find, but possible. (I do not recommend)
The Soviet Union quite literally predicted the future by making their own version of Thomas the train, except the Soviet train could actually walk, run, and dance like a normal human.
as a brazilian guy i can say that ratatoing and little cars are just a meme from here and not an alternate, poorly made and official version of a famous movie, yes, it was made here but don't talk like we are a bad version of the united states, this is disgusting...
Cinderella and Zolushka aren't exactly the same , Zolushka is somewhat original , when the original story of Cinderella was translated to Russian , it was not accurately translated and so this happened
Also the Aladdin story in Japan is more of a remake of the original 100 Arabic nights (I thinks that’s what it called) that was brought to it by probably Chinese merchants as the story traveled up the silk road
