The greatest gift all parents should give to their children is a love for reading books! This is what my mum gave me as a child. At the ages 8 or 9 I was reading anything and everything I could get my hands on! By the time I was about 16 years old I had read my Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, over and over and over again. It wasn't long before I realized that what was being taught in the Church was different to what's in the Word. At 16 I already knew that the marriage covenant is for life. And that if you got divorced you would have to remain unmarried or be reconciled with your covenant spouse. For to remarry, while still having a living covenant spouse, is adultery. This is what the Word teaches. This is not what's being taught in the Churches today. We now have Pastors on their 2nd, 3rd even 4th marriages. So many Churches are now filled with adulterers and adulteress all claiming to be under grace. This is NOT grace, it's lawlessness! At 16 I knew that just as Rebecca was appointed for Isaac, my wife was also appointed for me. For this reason I made a list of all the qualities I wanted my wife to have. Among the qualities I wanted my wife to have was that she had to be beautiful, prudent, virtuous, a virgin, know how to cook, be slim among other things. I spent a few years from the age of 16 praying and fasting for my wife on and off until I finally met her. And guess what? She had all the qualities on my list and so many more. We've been happily married now for over 25 Years! My being successfully married today didn't come from sitting passively in church listening to a Pastor. It came from revelation knowledge the Lord blessed me with, through His Word. It's from the Word that I learnt how to pray and fast. It's from the Word that I learnt of the importance of being baptized with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. It's from the Word that I learnt that loving my own wife is a choice I must make every day. And because I have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit my love for my wife continues to be renewed every day. The reason why there's so much divorce in the Church today is because the true gospel, that demand crucifying the flesh, is not being preached. It's been replaced with a watered down feel good gospel that has no power in it. This has opened the door for wolves, skilled in eloquent speech, to come into the Church to deceive and seduce whole congregations. How very tragic! Whole congregations are not being equipped to diligently study the Word for themselves. This has all happened so that the Scriptures will be fulfilled. For when the Lord comes for His remnant Bride millions of Christians will be left behind. Only then will these left behind Christians pick up their Bibles and start studying it for themselves.

@dunamis333 I feel like I need a deeper understanding of the bible. I have a spirit husband since I young Anointed Fire is the only person who gave me a deeper meaning and of understanding of what it means and what attracts them. I have a bunch older worldly women who pretend to be christians not once have I ever heard any of them mention this. They did not marry for love because of church members and pregnancy. I wished I had a godly woman of God to talk to about this. I wasn't raised with the skills and knowledge I needed as a young woman. It has deeply affected my life and so has my spirit husband. I would have liked to have been a virgin on my wedding night. Can ask your wife to please guide and help me.
