What Christians Don't Get About Homosexuality: A Conversation With Sophia Ruffin 

I was a parent who never accepted that for my daughter... I always reminded her of who she really is. If someone said she was gay... I would say not my child. People would say, you have to accept it. I said, "Never...She is now married with four kids. I am a praying mother who never gave in.

Great interview. I was a bi dude on the DL and know one knew other than guys I was messing around wit. I was always seeking love and seeking God. It took 27 years of seeking, knocking and asking, to finally have that spirit of homosexuality lifted off of me. I’m super grateful. And amazed though now that it’s gone I always knew it wasn’t me, but when you can’t beat ‘em sometimes we join them. It feels great to no longer lust over men. I live full time as a missionary and when I say as soon as I think God can’t get any better, SURPRISE!! He does!! Praise the Alpha and Omega, the Most High God and an immeasurable thanks to the Blood of Jesus, that spoke and speaks on my behalf. Thank You Yeshua!!! Who the Son has set free, is free indeed!!! There is about to be a mass breaking of the homosexual stronghold over the church. Glory to God!!! Somebody Praise God!!!!!

Some have extremely strong desires to drink, some to steal, some to lie. All those who love God, choose to turn away from their lusts day in and out. Struggling from homosexuality is no different from the other challenges.

Her mother indeed gave birth to precious fruit of the womb! Her love for Holy Spirit, The Father is undeniably real. Her Pastors’ support was so important, so heartbreaking that so many could walk away because of unloving shortsightedness from other Christians.

The most power statement was when Sophia said if we don't be community for them, there's an entire community of people who are awaiting to embrace them. My God!!!!!
