I'am from Germany. I ordered the Skittles Guards. Awesome Job on these Things ! Love it ! Greetings from Germany Sean. Thank U for your Fantastic RU-vid Channel !!!
man those colors on the guards r unique they was fuego but i loved the army green 1 & the wine color was my favorite gotta try me a pair many blessings yall thanks 4 that review SCH
Just bought these, Skittles, and they arrived rainbow! I was apprehensive at first cuz yours starts with purple then black… unfortunately they rattle on my Babyliss Boost+ matte black clipper so had to adjust the zero gap
Thanks. I have been self trimming my beard and wet shaving my head for over a decade. I have the original double magnet purple andis guards with oster fast feeds with the white dog grooming cutter and andis t outliner. Was looking to upgrade my gear and pre ordered a SC black saber trimmer. Still deciding what clippers and guards I want. Cheers.
Yeah, I’ve been running my OG corded fast feeds till now, with the purple Andis guards as well; just ordered the instinct and leaning towards the saber trimmer. May have to grab those chocolate ones.
I bought some and by the first month of owning them most of them started to rattle really bad, the rivets were starting to loosen so I fixed them by using a punch and a hammer ( turned the guard on it’s back with the rivet on a flat surface then hitting it with the punch and hammer), also the teeth on my 1/2 guard started to fall off randomly so I had to buy a Wahl guard, but yeah other than that they are pretty cool guard just don’t think they’re worth the 35
These guards are a hit or miss. I have ordered twice before. The grape (purple) and bubblegum (pink) colorway and there was issues on both of them. On both sets the number 1 guards were faulty. The pink ones the metal clip got loose and doesnt secure anymore after only 3 cuts , the purple one guard came with two teeth longer so it does cut a bit off. Also on my pink one the half guard , three teeth ended up breaking making it not usable on my pink set up. Overall they good for color purposes but longevity you guys going to need to replace within a month or two. Just from my personal experience 💯
Just ordered the Skittles set about two weeks ago, and the same exact thing happened to my #1 guard after only one day of using! Unacceptable inferior quality, IMO. I emailed them about the issue, and so far “crickets.”. These are aesthetically-pleasing, but that’s all. I should have went with my gut and bought the wahl premiums, as those are tried and true. On a side note, I’ve also had terrible experience with G and B Pro products and overall customer experience…
I just got a set of Olives and the 3 rattles so bad I can’t use it. It rattles open or closed on my seniors and mc so I think it’s a fit issue. I wasn’t as impressed with them as I hoped I would be but they do look great. I just got a pair of boosted so I see if maybe it’s just my wahls.
I just got the ghost in yesterday. They make no noise with my gold magic clips. They make occasional noise with my low Pros. They make constant rattling noise with my low Pro FX. The premium wall guards don't make any rattling noise on any of them. I tried pushing the FX Clippers back, but they kept rattling even when they were not zero gapped
I have a 2 sets of StyleCraft guards that are exactly the same, only different in color. They didn’t come with a #1/2 guard, only a #0, but measurements of the MB #1/2 guard is supposedly the same as the SC #0 guard. Here I was thinking I needed a #1/2 guard for fading as the next step down from #1, which led me here, but now I’m thinking the SC #0 (1/16”) guard will work just fine. Any confirmation/input on this would be appreciated.
@@Seancutshair got a rebel motor on my magic clip but it sounds loud, want to try the metal casing with cushioning to see if i get a better sounding clipper with that power
Would these work on the style Craft instinct clipper?? Also, which clipper and trimmer would you recommend today in buying if you could only choose one of each
Great reviews. Could you explain what guards will fit different trimmers. I'm having a hard time finding guards for my babyliss 787 trimmers that have more depth than 6mm.
I ordered on July 31st and have not got them yet , and its August 9th…. Was told it was manufacturing problem, so thts not good news hearing a new company is having those kinda issues. Reading some of the comments here and the feedback i’m sort of second-guessing why I bought these guards. I think it was honestly just aesthetics but why can’t style craft or Babylyss make cool colored guards, or do all these influencers just gas each other’s companies up for no reason.
If they’re sold out or haven’t recieved the order those are normal issues. And no I don’t just gas up other guys companies these are the guards I use in every single video
Are these better than the wahl premiums and babyliss pro premium don’t know which to go with but I see Marty blendz has some good guards as well.! I’m using the magic clips cordless and the babyliss pro lithium fx
@@Seancutshair thank you so much for the reply back and the info much appreciated Brotha.! I haven’t used neither I’m getting back into cutting been 9 yrs since I’ve cut but it’s like riding a bike you can never forget just need to refresh my memory and honestly I’ve been watching your videos and learning a lot thank you for the content you create to give use beginners good ideas.!💪🏻 as of right now I’m using magic clips cordless and babyliss pro lithium fx+ the 2nd I’m just wondering what guards would be best for those 2 machines there just my starters for now until I get my gamma boosted.!
I bought the guards and they look cool but They are a cheaper plastic and the rattle is too zero gapped? it’s not cause there zero gapped!!! The metal hook under is not bent far enough! No refunds if they are used once. If I got them for free I would say they are bomb too!
Man I’m so disappointed! Mine rattle a whole lot on my seniors. I can’t use them. Its too annoying. I really wanted to like them but just threw away my money. I guess I got a bad batch or something
