Employer: You can forget everything that you learned in college. You won't be needing it here Me: That's ok. I didn't go to college anyway Employer: Then you're not qualified for this job
Best thing to do while at university is getting a job in the field you are studying. Some businesses look for students currently studying. It will make things easier looking for a job after getting your degree. You will be ahead of most of the applicants pool if you've had some experience in the field or professional environment.
ive never seen something more true in my entire life. The group one with connor and chance are literally what im experiencing right now. The referencing one is also so true aswell
Hey Dowlo I'm a new fan just watched literally 69 of your videos in the past week and I just want to tell you that you 100% deserve to blow the fuck up and be a big part of bringing Aussie humour to the rest of the world. Fan for life, love your work.
That's when you screech equitable estoppel and site walton stores v maher and demand your hecs debt to be paid as special damages becuase law school isn't what suits made it look like.
Fuck me, this is depressingly accurate. Went into uni straight out of high school, studied bachelor of design from 2021 to about a month ago. Since I'm going to suspend that course and take a gap year, just working part time while actually having free time to do stuff I'm interested in as well as looking into more hands on design things to do like apprenticeships
I just had a week off, hitting the piss hard,i’m drunk your hired, made spit my beer out, funny AF,still got a job, keep the Aussie life true, well done Liam
coz ppl just are told by parents to go to uni, theres almost a stigma about it, if u dont go ur going to be a failure typa vibe. If u actually do it about something ur passionate about its very different.
Fuck, this is spot on!! This made me experience such terror and PTSD :D This is the reason why I´m not pursuing another degree and not working in academia, I managed to escape actual hell!!! So glad I´m doing better now!!
@@beau.schub2 Still earn more then most people with a degree though, mostly cause they have 3 trillion dollars worth of student loans, and half of them become taxi drivers cause no one hires them
@@fyshi6226 you rack up student loans if you spend money like an idiot and aren’t good at anything else to the point where you can’t get scholarships. definetly worth it in the long run. people pay for a degree.
Who else has noticed when Liam says slaughter he sounds like Ghostface saying Sidney. “Surprise SSSSSSSSSidney.” Ghostface. “Sit down or I will SSSSSSSlaughter you.”
college/university: go to school for years and then you'll still be paying that student debt off 10 years after graduating trades: do labor/physical work, go to school for a little bit and get paid big money with no huge student loans.
@@sam8192 depends where you are. for instance where i am in Australia if you own a construction business you would be making huge amounts of money because there's so much demand on all sorts of trades, with 2 year queues for big jobs. But definitely if you are just working for someone you might not get that amount
