Hi. Thanks for the video. 2005 Honda Civic: fluid is blue. Is that a good color? Also, I can’t remember ever having changed the fluid although the mechanics might have done it. Is there a certain number of miles after which the power steering fluid should be changed anyway? The symptom is that after driving for about 10 or 15 minutes there’s sort of a whining sound like it’s louder when I turn the steering wheel. Everything works fine.Thank you in advance!

Mine looks black. When I dipped a paper towel in it.. it smelled burnt and was a grayish red. Could this cause a growling sound and make the steering harder? 08 Focus Sedan.
