I remember my parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles using the phrase "different strokes for different folks." Yes! Some of us find it easier to budget with cash initially, and leaning into that part of ourselves allows us to be consistent and then earn that interest down the road. My retirement account isn't under my mattress, but it's motivating if I can track my savings through the quarter before depositing it and investing it. 🎉

@@nayjavu Jasmine's 100 envelope savings challenge book will help me save $5,050 to help me have a place to stay at in Hollywood California at the Roosevelt hotel. I am planning on making a short horror movie in California and it's very expensive to make a movie in California I will only be there for a week and the movie will only be 30 minutes long, so I have to have at least $5,050 to have too be able to pay for my hotel while I make the movie. But after I make the movie I don't think I can just pay the actors and film crew then go back home I might have to stick around in California a little longer to market my film. Idk I might have to move there. I am not really scared of California I am more scared of the prices in California 😆 😆 😆 the cost of living is high as a kite. To rent a film studio in Los Angeles is probably... I don't even want to know the price, I'll just keep saving.
