What D&D Alignment is Buu? 

I think piccolo would be the most interesting to see next. I mean King Piccolo to Piccolo Jr and Kami and Neil

Piccolo is one of the most interesting characters in all of Dragon Ball his species and ability’s, allow him to do a lot of things that most other people in the series just can’t additionally, he’s one of the few characters that have connections deep to the original series and can keep up in the newer series

Apparently Super Saiyan 3 was going to be called SS2, because Toriyama forgot he already made SS2.

I like how you're also taking the influence of those he absorbs into account for where his alignment shifts around

While Picolo would absolutely be a big vid and worth seeing, I’m still holding out in vain for that Beelzemon video ya mentioned offhandedly a ways back- I firmly believe that happened. Buu however is one of the best DBZ villains for an alignment video thus far. Most movie villains specifically are pretty simple, and while Buu is as well in a way, the nature of him makes for an interesting discussion when dinging him. It’s why majins in xenoverse are such a fun race! How they work, how they become the individuals they are, is so interesting to me.

Buu is one of thr best characters in DragonBall! He is goofy and adorable but also terrifying when in Super Buu and Kid Buu. He really is chaos incarnate. And I love it!

2 things I think were important to fat buu's character that was missed was the blind boy and the woman he wanted to kiss, the blind boy was the first instance were buu learns he can get enjoyment from being nice, and the woman ties into Mr Satan were she tried and failed to get mercy by appealing to but but was scared when he asked for a kiss, Mr Satan basically does the same thing and just doesn't get caught, and it's through his influence that but learns that killing is bad and once he has a friendship with him, buu promises to never kill again

I find it hard to do this for Buu, as each form comes with a new personality. Buu starts Chaotic evil, but in the end I’d say he’s chaotic good, he’s no longer evil or purposely destructive, but he’s mentally like a child, thus he can often be chaotic. It’s his evil side that’s chaotic evil for most forms unless he has the intelligence of Super Buu. But that’s what I love about Buu, where as Frieza remained consistent, Cell got more egotistical and refined, Buu fluctuates with each form. Fat Buu is childish but prone to evil, yet becomes more good as he meets Hercule and in the end stays good, Super Buu is violent and destructive yet does show intelligence and occasionally restraint if you can convince him like Picollo did. Then there’s Kid Buu, lacks the intelligence of Super Buu, and ability to be manipulated like Fat/Good Buu, Kid Buu is the most Chaotic Evil version of Buu, just a mostly mindless evil force of chaos and destruction.

I would love an alignment series on the Firefly crew. You'd need to dedicate a whole episode to figure out where in the verse Malcolm Reynolds ends up lol

Never played any TTRPGs, but I know that DBZ-based one has a Buu type character, heck it's on the cover. Makes me wonder whether there were any special alignment mechanics added for that. I mean, if they're going for accuracy to the original, any time one of those creatures defeats another by absorbing them or turning them into snacks and eating them, there should be at least a degree of impact on his alignment. Would make for an interesting challenge I imagine if you have to deliberately adjust your character's behavior to make them more chaotic or lawful, more good or evil, smarter or dumber, etc. after every battle.

Should be mentioned that the evil side of Buu (or Kid Buu) gets reincarnated into a good person as per Goku's wishes, being reborn as Uub. Sadly tho, not much content out there with Uub as he only appears on the epilogue of Z, barely appears on GT, gets one mention in Super and appears once in Super's manga which isn't technically canon for as far as I know.

The "Fat Buu Wants Ice Cream" episode/ micro arc is the only DB/DBZ episode I like.This may be influenced by the episode outsourcing, the resulting massive swings (generally to the terrible) in animation quality, and the sheer cuteness of the episode.
