Yall eat like me now, I had to change my whole eating habits. I was 357 in March and that was the heaviest I been in my life. Being stuck in the house from covid hurt me. Eating and drinking is all I did. I was like fuck this and I've been eating right and working out EVERYDAY since March. Now I'm 254. This video gave me some ideas. I'll be watching yall this season. I'm a huge basketball fan. MSU fan since birth tho.

Encourage adding high protein options but don’t create a fear of other types of foods. Having sugar is okay, its a form of carbs, as athletes carbs are your main energy source! Ensure your telling your viewers that eating out here and there or a occasional ice-cream date is normal and healthy in moderation! Also the definition of calories is a unit of energy, so as an athlete it’s also important to realize that you need more calories then the average person

I've recently started making the world's simplest pancakes. 1 serving: 2 eggs and 1 banana with a scoop of protein powder (I use Orgain peanut butter flavor). I blend it in the nutrabullet and come out with like 5 or 6 small-medium pancakes.

Do you ladies have a nutritionist that you meet with regularly at U of M and in the past at U of Fresno State? If yes, do they educate you on the fueling aspect like you mentioned? Do you now find a difference in your energy levels while fueling better?

Honestly I think you guys can ease up on that diet and as a result you’ll be happier and less stressed. For instance those cardboard things are ideal for wrestlers trying to cut weight yet if you bring those anywhere near another wrestler you’ll get punked or faded. Throw those in the trash. During wrestling I often enjoyed regular meals not recommend for someone on a diet. You can eat normally at times as long as you make up for it (skip a meal.) Obviously avoid sweets so you don’t cramp up and feel extra tired. Anyways I believe how you eat can affect your attitude and negatively affect your game if you altogether give up foods you enjoy eating. The season is a long grind try to enjoy it from time to time. I would spend less time stressing about a strict diet and apply your time to studying basketball. I am not trying to be disrespectful, I just hope I can influence you to enjoy your life a little more while playing college basketball. 〽️
I stopped drinking Cocoa Cola, all Mountain Dew products, Sunkist, Most Root Beer soda, Pepsi, except recently like 8 months ago tried the new Pepsi Nitro because of how much hype it was tried it once and I never went back to Pepsi after that, Fanta, Dr Pepper, Pibb, pretty much most of the soda brands except 7-UP, Sprite, and Canada Dry over 5 years ago. I had a long term hiatus on most candy. I stopped eating warheads 5 years ago. Now I still have a candy eating problem I tend to eat candy from time to time still but at age 20 I am starting realize that my stomach isn’t reacting that well with some candy. Candy if you eat too much of it can actually make me sick l. When I was a kid, you could eat whatever you wanted but the body isn’t like that at 20.
