Thanks. I just figured the increase in views was caused by everyone staying inside due to the virus but hopefully the youtube gods have thrown me a bone.

Your points about team based esports is missing an important caveat: 1 vs 1 esports with team leagues. The best example of this is the Broodwar Proleague, where you do have teams with 11+ players and having coaches making important decisions that effect the outcome of matches.
