This video is to shed light on some of meaningful memories and connections that the people have made in the Destiny 2 Community. Friendships and Loss. Memories and Struggles. Tell me what the 10 years of Destiny has meant to you.
Destiny is a unique case scenario in where it does something very rare and very hard that very few other games can do: It creates memories. Both good and bad. I still remember in D1 getting my very first exotic, TLW, from a blue engram I remember beating the raids for the very first time. I remember booting up D2 for the vert first time and the game flashing all your major D1 accomplishments in the character select screen. I remember all of it. Imma be real: i finally stopped playing D2 last year during season of the deep. I just wanted to play other games. However, seeing all the major changes from at least 2 months out before TFS and seeing what the expansion has brought has made me consider coming back.
I was there for the lootcave and I was there in the Red War. Always loved the release but didn't always get the hang of the DLCs but man the Corridors of Time puzzle was a time to be around. So many great memories and I hope they simply make a timeskip or smth for the next game and just give us a "new start" , don't recycle even though we all had some favourite characters (for most guardians Cayde 6) but give people the same feeling that was given us when we first started.
With the way year 11 is being whispered about, it seems that maybe that’s where they are heading. Starting fresh. Unfortunately, remnants of the Witnesses still remain and we won’t truly know until we complete this entire expansion after the episodes. But yeah right now is a good time to be a Destiny player.
