If you go back in my other videos, you will see that I take an egalitarian view of gender. I grew up in the complementarian camp, and then, through my classes and independent study, came to see the scriptures through the egalitarian view.

Don't think you have mentioned the KJV bible. Just wonder your thoughts on it. It seems to be the standard many places, even rising into the KJV onlyists. Any other translation not being the word of God. The 6th Sola it seems.
Ya.. didn't want to get into the first topic. I actually grew up at a KJV only IFB church and made a really hard, left turn away from it as I did my schooling. (I'm a critical text greek guy) I have, in the past 2 years, however, come back to it and use it for my devotional life because I love the poetic language and the familiarity of it from my childhood.
@@sam_burke I tend to use the KJV just to avoid being accused of distorting scripture because another translation is worded differently. My experience with Baptists, some are all over the map with their beliefs, so It can be hard to have a discussion.
