Lads, I think, after having seen hundreds of reaction videos, we're here for your reactions; not for super detailed breakdowns and if we want to see the song uninterrupted then we got the original if we want. Pause away! Appreciate the 10 second rewind though, keep that flow going. Ignore the haters. I'd like to recommend Tale of Jenny and Screech (full). It's important to hit the full version as it's really 3 parts and this one has them all together. Edit: this is one of Ren's "retakes" and on those, he takes other songs and makes them his own. Otherwise he does his own beats and directs and edits his videos. He raps like a demon, sings like an angel, plays awesome guitar, badass bass, beautiful piano, beatboxes and his acting in his videos is quality.

I know this video is a month old, but I scrolled down a bit, and didn't see that anyone posted this. When Ren does a retake, he takes an existing song, and puts his own lyrics to it. He's got a new track coming out on the 29th, but you should cover Sick Boi before then. The Hunger is in all kinds of speeds and full on multisyllable rhyme schemes, super flow switches etc. Maybe have the lyrics from the comments on a phone? I just love Ren. He is, like made of music and creativity. You should definately check out his band The Big Push and I would recommend to start with the live cover of "I Shot the Sheriff, Road to Zion, Hip-hop", there you will see some of his musical range. And then there is so much more. I just love Ren. And ignore the haters and make the channel as you want to see it and people who like your way will find you. If you want the lyrics Ren usually puts the lyrics either in the description or near the top of the comments section. I know the Hunger has the lyrics in the comments. If you have another phone you could have them pulled up while you watch, or do a full play through, then read the lyrics and do a re-listen. I have seen reactors do it all types of ways. Loved watching this! Just subscribed! I know others are complaining about pausing, but please just pause every time you have something to say. I think the people who were complaining just wanted you to rewind (at least I hope so because this is a reaction). It honestly kinda hurts to see you try not to pause. I’m here to see your reaction. You can’t really authentically react if you’re constantly trying not to pause. Also, Ren usually has the lyrics pinned in the comments of the video. The CC timing is off and screws up the lyrics.

We're here to see YOUR REACTION, if someone wants to see the whole video through without pause, they can go watch the original!! A reaction is supposed to be with commentary, so pause for that. Also, the issue people have with subtitles is they are almost never correct and can't keep up any better than you could read it. Almost nobody could keep up reading double time and triple time lyrics.

ok, i think i might have the formula: play the song once thru without pause to get the vibe and react however ur feeling because thats the true reaction. then go back for the analysis. replay the vid with the lyrics up and pause as much as u want. if ppl just want pure reactions (which is valid) they can click off after the reaction and others can stay for the analysis. i personally get a lot from both aspects- the hype and the thought. thats what its all about. love u bros, keep doin u. and im not even gonna say f the haters, because i know theyre just reacting in their own way with the same frustrated impulses we all get with wanting sharing experiences, they just havent found the right tools and ways yet to express the twisted love that theyre trying to communicate in a frustrated mind. maybe they arent 'haters' as much as they are 'students'?? but of course there will always be straight haters out there, which as much as it hurts to admit, also graze the same grass as the lovers. its all the same. we all lost. but were coming together here. thx guys. thx ren. much love🫶✌️

The reason they say not to use subtitles is because it’s autogenerated and wrong more than 1/2 the time. But with Ren in the comments he pins the lyrics at the top of the comment thread.

a good thing that some other reactors do when they want to check lyrics is to just edit that part out. pause the reaction, check the lyrics, resume the reaction. then you guys get to understand the lyrics and everything looks pretty seamless on our end. just a suggestion 😆 edit: the squid game outfit and redlight greenlight parts arent mentioned in the song, but if you listen again he drops a lot of actor/movie/musician references. new kids on the block, jean claude van damm, roxanne, vanilla sky, the last samurai, mission impossible, quentin tarantino, squid game etc. the finger gun part from the thumbnail is a reference from kendrick lamarrs swimming pools song. headshot, drank

You guys do it your way. Breaking it up is not an issue. If it is a good video and people want to watch it without interruption then they should go to the original content creator's channel and watch it. That is a good way to honor the content creator and give them the views they deserve. The rewind is appreciated though.

BUT I just felt like when you talked about wether to make a studio type place to make reactions etc that y’all might need to see some LOVE to help ya make a choice about how far ya wanna take it! The problem with subtitles is that they are SO WRONG that if you are relying on them, you're not getting it right anyway. Your ears hearing some of it is better than reading something that is telling you he said something that he didn't say. You're better off pulling up the lyrics and having them in another window to click to. Also, with something like the Tale of Jenny & Screech, subtitles can SPOIL things. Ren usually puts the lyrics in a pinned comment on the vids...but not always.

I'm going to offer up a suggestion. Record the audio from the video direct (not with a microphone). The sound quality will shoot thru the roof. The downside is you will need headphones or earbuds to hear the video. At least that way when you guys' yell for a second it doesn't kill the audio from the video because the mic can't take the sudden increase in sound it's trying to pick up (and the volume of the music is drastically reduced for several seconds before it gradually comes back). Watch this video you uploaded to RU-vid, and you will hear for yourself what I mean.

Ren is originally from Wales, but lives in Brighton, England now. He’s currently staying in Canada while he’s getting some extensive medical treatment for his previously misdiagnosed and decade long battle with Lyme Disease.
