Man right when Hinata felt so lonely at Brazil, there's Oikawa. Glad those two able to reunite and hangout together. Can't wait to see they animated this part. Even though i think it will be in year 2025 or more :(
Pariston Hill when hinata and kageyama were first years, sakusa was a second year, so by the time hinata was a 3rd year sakusa had graduated already so itachiyama didn’t have him that year
truthfully the timeskip i believe was a brilliant move, as much as i wanted to see things progress in real time i feel it may have gotten repetitive and dare i say it… stale. now though anything important that happened from then and now we can receive in flashbacks which haruichi has already proven he is master at weaving the storyline perfectly between past and present moments. also haikyuu can't end until hinata somehow gets his precious wallet back 😭😭
Idk why it kinda felt wrong, dont get me wrong I liked the timeskip and all but I really think it shouldve been an open ending end after the last match, idk. I dont think this is how it shouldve been but it just feel wrong a timeskip like this...
@@philippelevesque5499 open ending in a match? Oh hell no. That's just saying that lets make it random of a ending and make the fandom make their own ending.
@@mainowl that was 4 months ago. When the serie was stil on going. Now I have nothing to complain about. It was perfect. I judged too fast and reflecting on it I would've been heartbroken more than I already am. Btw the current ending is still an open ending and I love it like that. Btw the open ending I wanted was after the lost of the match idk, but I loved that we almost got to see everyone in these last chapters. That was pure joy for me.
If that panel of third year Hinata doing a perfect receive of third year Kageyama’s monster serve gets animated I’m gonna cry a pool of tears. Because I can’t help but remember the very first time Hinata received Kageyama’s serve in their first year, and that might well be the last during their third year as they part ways.
Yes but think it in this way, the ones with the goal of getting to nationals were Daichi, Suga and Asahi. So without them it wouldn't even matter that much. Hinata and Kageyama are always trying to go higher.
@@benjamin_fwn totally agree, but it would had been awesome to see the first years (Kagehina and Tsukkiyama) in their last year playing in the nationals, and placing third (or second, can't remember). Then than moment where they realize it was their last game together, and how far they have gotten
@@_aaaa.a_476 That would have been awesome, that's exactly what I thought in the frame of that episode when we saw Hinata, Tsuki, Yamaguchi and Kageyama in their last match, just showing their backs and respective numbers.
We weebs just aint ready for hinata to get sick and lose in the nationals, then having the 3rd year graduating before losing many times in the nationals and proceeding to lose even more of our crew before splitting ways
It is really surprising that a big team like MSBY would accept Hinata into their squad. As he wasn't known at that time. But his hard work paid off in the end can't wait to see more of Hinata.
He actually gave trials at Jackals and maybe other teams but was selected by Jackals. Also, players like Atsumu and Bokuto might have helped in pursuing the manager to get Hinata into the team because they knew he was a hot prospect back in high school.
@@blockofvik7133 i agree. i personally want to see how it went at trial days. how the whole Members and coachs reacted to Shoyo. i hope Furudate give the stories about it.
BlockofVik he did trials, he was likely the best player to appear during the trials. Also, as mentioned before actual members already knew him + he was well known during highschool. Not surprising imo.
I can't imagine how sad it would have been to see the 3rds years leave, then the 2nd years and finally the monster first years leave, imo I would have cried knowing that they would never playing in the same court again but at least they all stay somewhat in touch as they all game to the game when Kageyama and Hinata versed professionally.
If you think it well, it makes sense to have this time skip. Furudate would be a genious if he did this on purpose to not repeat the same story. But at the same time to let a space to write after Haikyuu's story ends. And finally we, haikyuu's fans, can rest in peace
I think the time skip was good because it would have got repetitive and the first year was probably the best team and had the best people. So it would have been good if we really focused on the first year
well, i guess it depends. tbh the first year team would have been perfect to win nationals, but i think when hinata and the rest of them are third year, they would arguably have been the strongest. at that point, karasuno would have definitely developed a much more solid playstyle, and with hinata being the strongest non-libero for ground defense, tsukki for blocks and kageyama for overall offensive potential, karasuno would have been at least skill wise peaked
@@The_Jazziest_Coffee I reckon the first year time was probably the worst. By the time they got to their 3rd year, they had matured drastically and given that they were now re-recognized as a powerhouse, a lot of middle school prospects probably went there too. Their 3rd year wouldve made most sense to conquer Nationals, given that all the big threats from previous years, the Miyans, Hoshiumi, Kiyomi, etc were gone and Kageyama was probably the best setter in high school at the time realistically but I guess top 3 is good
@@amilcarsafeca7629 ooh fair enough, i completely forgot about karasuno already establishing themselves as a powerhouse and recruiting better prospects, fair point
I’m pretty upset that they never won a national tournament together. It follows like that really stereotypical ending of the journey of beating powerhouses and then crashing out of the tournament. I was pretty sad about Hinata training in Brazil bc I thought it was gonna end there. Hinata returning to Japan to play with old high school friends as a pro and then going onto represent Japan is definitely satisfying. Serves as fan service for blue balling us out of a national championship
tho imo, it's also pretty realistic. no team has a guaranteed spot for winning, and it's actually well shown in the msby vs adlers match. adlers were definitely the hot favourite, with kageyama and hoshiumi and ushijima. and yet cuz of hinata, they managed to pull through. so yeah, it all comes down to opportunity, which is a combo of luck, practice and skill
Haikyuu manga has been fire recently, I'm caught up(394 rn I think) and I highkey hated the idea of a timeskip back at like 370, but now I honestly don't mind this way of storytelling. The other 2 years wouldn't be nearly as important as the first year the story told, and this way we can see fire right after fire, seeing the end game of Haikyuu... I mean it's already nearing the 400 chapter mark. If we were to have the other 2 years the manga would most likely be rivalling the likes of One Piece lol. And the timeskip grew on me, obviously there's a lot more we want to know, but I like how they are pretty much giving most of the characters we became invested in a spotlight every now and then. Hopefully this isn't the final match tho, I really wanna see a "team japan" rio olympic game with Hinata/Kageyama again, I wouldn't think it's far fetched either since the story is taking place in 2020(4 years after Kageyama and Japan were in the 2016 rio Olympics). Ahhh there's so much to talk about, Haikyuu is amazing tho. One of my favourite sports mangas ever. I would honestly argue that other than say Hajime no Ippo, Haikyuu is the best at making you feel motivated, in life and especially to play volleyball even tho you might not be that fond of it outside of the show. Goated.
The two things I really want to see. Yamaguchi as captain and Dateko winning and competing in nationals! Imagine *GO GO LETSGO LETSGO DATEKO* chanting in the big stadium.
shiratorizawa most likely lost when goshiki was in his third year because that’s the only karasuno would’ve made it to nationals when they were in their 3rd years
I mean,we didn't see the results for the summer interhigh of their 3rd years and the fact that Goshiki managed to make the cut for a Division 1 V. League team while still at university makes me think he probably went to nationals at least once more and made a name for himself there.
I feel your pain...as a senior I'll miss all my best friend who always have my back and support me.. even tho I already finished my final exam...but tell you the truth it's nerve-racking to wait for the results...
not gonna spoil much but I will say, Hinata post timeskip is a monster that is in his own league. The others are great no doubt, but reading his first time-skip game, man I was so hyped despite not being a manga reader.
This is a important question why is hinata having 5 number in his 3rd year, if thr is kageyama,Tsukishima, yamaguchi, thy become three 3rd years other then hinata, so hinata should hv number 4 ,...unless some skilled 3rd year joins the school
Honestly, I would have loved to have seen an interaction between Hinata and the other first years, now second years, with the new team members. Even if it's a single scene, I'd like to see how they would treat them now that they're the "parents".
i haven't seen this yet since i watching the show but they grew up so fast!!!! T-T and i'm so proud of them!!!!! i was literally screaming my but off 1. i'm a simp 2. yamaguchi became a captain 3. kemna 5:49 like brooooooo your so successful!!! 4. the black jackals!!!! 5. im going to miss everyone because now that there all grown up they all separated T-T
I'm kinda glad we got a timeskip with a summary of what happened. It would really have just been more of the same that we've already seen if the timeskip didn't happen. Although I am hoping to maybe see some OVA's about some interesting moments during those times.
I was expecting some holes in your video, but you pretty much covered everything major, excellent video doc The only minor things that i found that you miss was that he Learned (to some level) three languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese).
It seems that Karasuno lost all three summer Interhigh tournaments in high school (Furudate never mentioned they attended one in their third year, but knowing him, they probably lost to Shiratorizawa).
Seeing as Karasuno members prefer to stay for spring tournament, that also means less time to develop the team without third years. Which means that teams in which third years retire after Interhigh have a better dynamic.
ngl after season 4 ends...we might get a timeskip recap of the things that happened during their last years of highschool for the first episode in season 5 and continue the story in Brazil in episode 2...im just thinking...or we might get a movie about the whole arc in general in Brazil instead of a season idk...thoughts!
Some might say they want to see more games in between but like you would need to introduce more characters, then you must make the old ones appear over and over again else they just get forgotten and not have the hype-build-up for the ending. But well I also would like to see more of the manga/anime and more well-made characters. So like maybe introduce as flashbacks some first years who look up Karasuno, put some cutscenes of some games that show thoughts process about new opponents, just 2 3 panels, also the audience. That I think would be great. But regardless, the time-skip is amazing
I bet the second Karasuno-Inarizaki match was awesome. The Miya twins would have had a year to master the minus tempo quick and integrate it into their playstyle (also lol Atsumu's captain? rip Osamu), and the Karasuno now-second-years would have more experience and confidence on the court. Even during the Spring tournament they had been learning new techniques/combos and those would have become polished with an additional year of working together under their belts.
He realized he was not a really good player without Kagaeyama. He wanted to do everything perfectly, be it receives, spikes, setting or serves. In beach volleyball there are only 2 players on the court so you have to be really good at everything to succeed in it. That's how Hinata got the idea of playing beach volleyball.
So this is very random and I'm probably wasting your time as uou read this comment but when He mentioned Hinata being homesick it made me very upset and it reminded me of when I had to spend a year in a different country with my sister and mother, without my father being there and I was very homesick so after He mentioned Oikawa meeting Hinata it sort of relieved me as I thought of him having a nice friend who could look out for him as He's visiting a new country all by himself. Just thinking about the anxiety and stress layered with constant home sickness and depression makes me feel so bad.
It’s crazy how furudate decided to make a time skip after the match against Kamomedai like if he wanted he could have made like 30 more volumes for hinata and Kageyama during there 2nd and 3rd year which would have been amazing how we could have see all the new karasuno members and also all the amazing battles that karasuno could have had if it was animated hopefully they don’t do the new movies bad or fast paced because honestly I don’t mind it being 2-4 hours long that’s better for us funs
@@teshin6333 🤔 maybe they had a 3rd year who was from another place and decided to join Karasuno, but if he wasnt shown in the manga then he prolly irrelevent.
