One night my parents weren't home and "three point one four" came on the radio. I turned it up, my windows were open and I was jamming. This is was in an apartment complex. I didn't realize that there was a cop car around the corner. They heard it and came up to my window laughing saying "I know it's a good song but you gotta turn that down". I was in 7th or 8th grade at that time, I'm 36 now. I'll never forget that day 😂😂

@Ce Ha It's a one off track, the humour comes from the context that the character portrayed by the singer (who doesn't use the character again their discography) is a complete piece of shit. You're supposed to hate the singer and the humour comes from laughing AT the bullshit. So definitely not for everyone and I doubt it would be good on this channel when Bloodhound Gang has a long list of better songs. Jimmy Pop definitely toned it down in later releases going for a more "Lovable idiot" vibe than "pathetic incel". I get your point though.

This song is a perfect capsule of what's gone wrong with the world since 2000. Twenty years ago this was in heavy rotation on most radio stations. Now, most of their music (and videos) couldn't even be recorded much less played on any public forum. Oh, freedom, how I miss you. ;-)

Great reaction! This came out the summer before my freshman year of college. It was wore out by sophomore year and had to buy another. The whole album is great. Jimmy Pop is a lyrical genius - clever and humorous. PS - I love how almost ever reactor ends up singing the chorus before the end. Testament to how catchy it really is.

I remember listening to a local radio station, 101X, in my neck of the woods when this shit was brand new. The radio station had a bit every Friday where people could call in and vote for "the song of the week". They broadcast some of the people calling , casting there vote and the DJ immediately moving on to the next caller live. This song was the song of the week for a good long while. Ah memories.

if you like this, Prozzak's "Shag tag," "I like to watch," "Sucks to be you," and "strange disease" are the Canadian equivalents. So much grade 10 fun! we were extreme!
