Cecilia- Argentina
St. Anthony is one of the greatest saints besides St. Francis of Assisi He is always there to help us as an intercessor. Both saints have helped me more times than I can count
St.Antony is always there to help us.There are times I got overwhelmed by seeing his intercession. He is there for all of you, as he is a gift for us from Jesus 🌷🌿
St. Anthony, my patron Saint, please Intercede for me and my family for restoration of complete health for me and my family and the right and perfect employment for me and my family also! Thank you St. Anthony!
This is amazing use of technology for sure. I agree, however, that we must look to digital 3D technology to bring new spiritual truths into the 21st Century. Perhaps given the tools I've been using, I could learn a few things along the lines of this. I pray that this will be a future vocation to do Digital 3D Iconography, or 3D printing statues. Might consider giving that a thought. This certainly is good inspiration towards that.
St.Anthony whispers our intentions into the ears of Infant Jesus, who is loved to folded in his arms...Let's seek the strong intercession of St.Anthony...
People who of the world my favourite people Saint Anthony miracles are of his world never to be for gotton and love u St Anthony my father and brother are called after u bless u my Saint I always pray to u for help and and other things that you want u give me thank u bless u deirdre myers Dublin Ireland the cstheloic world of Ireland
I know our technology is well advanced now. But I just have a feeling he doesn't look like that. I'm sure this technology has been tested to some actual person whose face is known and so there should be every reason to believe he does looks like that. But I don't know why I feel his face is more elongated if not then somewhat on thin side and not roundish or kind of chubby. Again it's just a feeling. I'm not sure why maybe because of all the fastimg and walking
janekerigan235 I’m Portuguese and he looks Portuguese as hell. Seeing he was Portuguese, this is the most realistic image we have of Saint Anthony. The Italians made him look so unrealistic.
Do we know if St. Anthony was normal BMI? would that not make a difference on the thickness of fat and muscle on the face. The reconstruction tech has serious enough limitations to render the final image "eye of the beholder" subjective. The artist will have race (if known or detected but not necessarily the skin shade), the gender & skull size and shape will be correct and that is about all. All that aside he is a great Saint and intercessor.
God has given St. Anthony the gift of helping us recover lost articles. What really God wants us to do as a Thanksgiving for this favor given us is to pray to St. Anthony for lost souls. ..that these lost souls may find themselves back in the right path to sanctity. These includes ourselves to a greater conversion and perseverance. God has given us the prayer of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for our conversion and perseverance and that of the whole world. St. Anthony is pointing us to pray with him for lost souls...the greatest favor we could do in loving God and neighbor.
Alessandro Manahan Please tell me how that response was remotely related to the comment above. If we need a history lesson, we will check Google. I personally believe he was just an ordinary human just like any other priest. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it, as are you to yours. Was he one heck of a guy? According to history yes, but keep in mind, this guy lived around 700 years ago and history always gets twisted and embellished over time. It's human nature. I'm not trying to rain on your parade or stomp on anyone's beliefs (I'm not here for religious reasons, I just find this kind of stuff interesting). Anyways, the main point of the guys comment was that this might not be a very accurate depiction of how he really looked other than the bone structure. Too many other factors to consider. Although this is probably the closest representation of his face to date.
All wrong! Saint Anthony did not look like that reconstruction. He had aristocratic and noble face. He was not fat and short neck. with such a meaty nose. What a shame on you!
