The reason sans doesn’t take damage is because he has a certain amount of dodges until he just dies

I think sans being invincible is supposed to be like his dodges in the original game, you do no damage because he dodges but he is one shotted if you manage to hit him once because he has 1 hp

Someone probably already said this but the reason why sans is sometimes invincible is the supposed to reference sans dodging in his fight but when he can't dodge anymore he dies in one hit

The reason why he wasn't taking damage when papyrus was hitting him because whenever someone does an attack on op sans he's dodging it but it dosent look like it, so it just looks like he can't take damage

His whole "invincibility" thing is a reference to how sans worked in the game he's from, Undertale. See, sans his actually the weakest enemy in the game with only 1 attack, 1 defense, and 1 hp..... However, he works around that with weird stuff unique to him. Yeah, all his attacks only do 1 damage per hit.... But you don't have invincibility frames in his fight, unlike every other battle in Undertale. So one attack can hit you like 30 times in a second. And his HP and defense may mean he dies from taking any amount of damage...... But he constantly dodges in the fight, so you don't really get a chance to DEAL any of the damage needed to kill him until he tires out. Which is shown in this character as him normally being invincible, but dying instantly if he DOES take damage somehow.

This sans is F-ING OP in other game called ,,mugen'' was pretty op with spam blaster lucky they did not added his last attack/aka blaster cycle it can almost 1 shot full hp enemy witch worked as his special

Sans will only be hit if the enemy hits Sans while he is doing a attack, but this window is very short, and basically the only way Sans could take damage is if the enemy just so happens to hit him while Sans starts an attack, such as his animation, however the window in which Sans can be hit is about a second, so you basically got to hope for the best. I hope this helped.

You forgot the fact that he is just one hit since in the actual game he literally has 1/1 hp but with a super high stamina and all of his attacks ignores defense

I have a solution for cosmic Ronald being unkillable (besides from anticheat Ronald/ anticheat Golden) 100% accurate hero from dragon quest infinite mp and op versions of basic spells and uh omnithwackle, (yes Omni spells exist and they are the strongest type, but ka’s are the second most powerful and they have le at the end) basically a stock wipe spell that he can only use vs cosmic or anticheat, I’ll include ui fox and ui speedrunner mario, but since they can be normally ko’d, he can’t use omnithwackle on them and it’s right off the bat, idk if the Duane would work, but other than that he is just a really powerful but really hard to use character, off of op characters he has 456 mp and 750 hp (yes he will be a stamina character, but the other character can be stock) and spells do random %s usually from 20%-80%, but no knock back if any of you are modders, I ask you to please make this
