There's a lot to unpack in these shorts, for sure. My interpretation is that episode 3 is about how societal expectations of romance twist and pervert the concept of love into an obligation, that has "right" and "wrong" forms, where actual emotional connection is secondary to tradition and ritual. Episode 4, meanwhile, seems to be about how computers and the internet constantly demand our attention, promising a vast array of new ideas and new connections while paradoxically hindering and devaluing connection in the 'real' world.

@@cyberwolf_1013I think the only reason they didn’t like it was because the lore wasn’t really the same as the yt vids lore,also probably bc it’s more of a comedy than horror too,but I don’t know why they didn’t like it,I thought it was pretty good,especially all of red guy and ducks moments,just them arguing all the time was hilarious,and when red guy was trying to calm duck down when yellow guy got smarter was adorable,same with the part when red guy said to duck “I’ll miss looking at the house(don’t remember if he did say that ;-;)again,and..looking at you..” and duck replied saying “you like looking at me?” “Yeah,I guess” “Well,I like looking at you too” I swear they are so cute together!! 🥹❤️❤️🥺

This series is known for having hidden Easter eggs and meanings. Just like that number you searched up, if you look up other numbers or things you see in the show, it's likely that you'll find something that they wanted you to look for. DHMIS had such an huge fanbase it's insane, there are theories out there that go super in depth about the show.

Remember, 45k likes and they'll do parts 5&6. I hope someday you do check out the final two episodes... of the RU-vid series anyway. They're pretty interesting and sexplain all the lore. Your reactions were amazing. Moral of the story: Never trust your fans. Episode 3 is one of the creepiest episodes yet, and Episode 4 is definitely my favorite. There is a tv show with six episodes that has a bit of a different vibe to the RU-vid episodes but it still has the don’t hug me I’m scared energy!

If you do finish the web series, I really suggest watching the TV series as well!! It has 6 episodes, and they’re all very good :D It also gives some insight and answers onto why the characters are stuck in a loop. All the episodes are 22 minutes long!

You need to watch episode 5 & 6 at some point. This series is an absolute RU-vid classic, i am suprised you have not heard of it yet. It is incredibly strange, but there is so much this series can say, and many people have come up with all sorts of interpretations, its a fascinating series to analyze and tear apart.

I highly suggest once finishing the RU-vid series that you also watch the television series as well! Whether you upload it or not is up to you guys, but I highly recommend the television show, it’s honestly amazing. It’s a bit less dark and gore driven than the RU-vid series, a lot more comedic, and does a great job at fleshing out our main 3 outside of songs and just the RU-vid show in general. It has a huge amount of lore behind it as well, although still leaving unanswered questions. 💛💚❤

I LOVE THIS SERIES!! It used to scare me a bunch when I was little but now that I'm older I love it! After you guys finish the RU-vid series you should watch the actual TV show version of it. Back in September of last year I believe they got a deal with the British TV network channel 4 and it's really good and actually quite funny, more than I expected it to be lol. This series was a staple of RU-vid horror back in the day although looking past that I just love all the sets! They remind me of the old Melissa & Doug toys that used to play with as a kid!

My theory is that each series happens in a charecters head. The web series follows red as he struggles with growing uo and becoming a adult, possibly with the birth of his first child. Roy is his image of a father, a cruel and distant man. Yellow is his inner child tourtured by being forced into imaginaty situations twisted by his adult mind and duck is a duck.

This was an amazing reaction! I definitely recommend the Walten files! Be warned it does have a lot of scary imagery. (You guys are literally the cutest 😭)

the way you guys catch all the lore crumbs makes me think you'll love the tv show !! its alot less gore/horror focused (other then ep 1 lol) and much funnier and tackles bigger exestential topics

There's a TV show that got made of this series you guys could watch, if you choose to pursue it. The TV series is a lot more comedy inclined, but still has some WTF moments.
