This time it went much much better. Now that I know this is absolutely doable without cracking in breaking your molds, we will be making the piece is necessary to modify an arbor press for anyone else whi would like to try it

YAY!!! that is so great that you got it to work for you! I think I will have to purchase the pieces for mine for when I use 3D printed molds! This makes me excited to get some of those from you too - I haven't bought from you yet and you have been on my list LOL

That’s so sweet Tammy. Thank you. Yeah, I am actually liking this. Arbor press now. I did another 2) batches (4# each) of BB’s yesterday and I have the hang of it now. My shoulders don’t hurt today.

Thank you for the demo! I've been using an arbor press for 12 years or so for making bath bombs. It was becoming so painful and no longer fun making bath bombs, but of course the demand for them is great. I ventured over to Harbor Freight to look at arbor presses, and voila, my new favorite tool. A tip for you on that fly away press arm. There is a lock screw that you can loosen to adjust the press arm. Loosen the lock screw, move the arm off center, then tighten the screw to hold the arm in place. The arm press should not fly around once you do that. Lesson learned after whacking my hand and arms a few times with that thing. I hope that helps.

Thank you for the tip. This press has quite literally saved me from having double shoulder surgery. We just made the modified pieces that we will be putting up for sale next week so that other people can go grab one at Harbor freight for way less money than any other place that sells actual bath bomb presses

I second the recommendation to loosen your handle. I rotate mine just high enough that my mold fits under the press and the weighted end of the handle faces away from me.i rest the handle on a block or box so i can grab it and rotate it easily. I also just give one good press dead center of the mold and that seems to work fine.

Thanks. I go all the way around to ensure a uniform pressure. I’m very used to this now and I love it.
