Even though I don’t respect him as a fighter, I do respect him learning English the way he has over the years. For a long time, I said he’ll never reach superstar status in the states if he doesn’t learn English and now the guy is damn near fluent at this point. Good on him

Funny video! Fluffy really hits on an interesting topic about language and professional athletes. As a Venezuelan who has lived in Spain and spent some time in the US specifically to learn English, it fascinates me to see how some sports stars, despite their long careers and success in the US, might not speak English fluently. It makes me wonder about the different challenges they face or the choices they make regarding language learning.
