I love this blog !!! This is so interesting to see what happens at MBA , and I just love to see the dancers being so funny . Thank you so much for this video ❤️
Kocham Twoje vlogi! Są interesujące i są o bardzo utalentowanych, młodych tancerzach. Uwielbiam je oglądać i bardzo cieszę się, że każdy z nich ma u Ciebie na kanale 5 minut! Dzięki Tobie poznaję życie młodych i zdolnych ludzi z pasją i talentem. Dziękuję Eva!❤❤❤
When I was dancing (literally 100 years ago, I counted 😂) I was a UK size 8, I don't know what that is in US sizes. My tutor would literally make me stand there in front of the class and she would say (she was Ukranian and she had a strong accent) 'see, she is too fat, look here, and here, look at this ugly shape it gives her here', and sometimes she would squeeze me tight around the waist and say 'Too big! Too big!!', I don't think you could get away with that now, at least I really hope not!
As a cautious note: just because you see someone eating doesn't mean they don't struggle with food. This idea that individuals with anorexia "don't eat" is very wrong. Anorexia is, instead, the avoidance of specific foods/flavours/quantities of food. For example, the comments made in this video about seed oils make me question the level of education they have regarding nutrition (probably not a lot, since the fear of seed oils is based on pseudo science claims). Furthermore, people commenting on whether some of these teenage girls are healthy are not necessarily out of "bad faith"; while some do sound mean, others just want to remind people that the body types shown in these vlogs are not "natural" for the very vast majority of the population. Being able to see ribs on a 17 y/o chest is, in MOST cases, extremely worrisome. I guess all I want to say with this comment is: let's be careful with judging how people eat or don't eat based on a few clips on RU-vid.
@@sweet_creature7799 I think any comment about a young girls weight that is made online is in bad faith. At the end of the day (even if you are concerned and want to help) you are not their parent or doctor. We talk all the time about how it's wrong to give unsolicited advice to people online if they are overweight. The reasoning behind this is that you don't know them, their eating habits, what their doctor is doing, or really anything at all. The same goes if you see someone online who you think is underweight. Just because you think seeing someone's ribs is worrisome, doesn't mean it actually is. So I guess I ultimately agree with your final statement, but would amend it to just say be careful about commenting on people's "eating disorders" based on a few clips on youtube
I am a senior age woman. I love ballet, I've watched it my whole life. I love photography and the desert so I appreciate your work. That studio has many talented students.
This doesn’t answer the question we all have? What is your role? You are not a true student, but you take random classes? Are you the official photographer! Why do you have access that others don’t? Who invited you? Is this your job? Are you paid? You look great and have become more skilled for sure! Good work! I enjoy your posts and the fun/hard work you do. Keep it up! Answer please: what is your connection to the studio?
I think Eva is an independent photographer. She is hired by many people to come photograph things. She apparently has had a long standing relationship with Master Ballet Academy to photograph their students and promote their dance business. She just takes adult ballet classes for fun and exericse. I believe she lives in New York and takes classes there, but will participate in an adult class at Master Ballet Academy when she is visiting there. She has done Q&As explaining this stuff in other videos.
Please note that this is speculation, but I believe there is ample evidence on this channel that Eva and Amber are family (I assume they are cousins). I would assume that Eva first came to MBA to take pictures of Amber, and built her relationships from there. Again, there is no confirmation on this from Eva, just deductive work on my part.
@@ilznidiotic From what Eva has explained - she and Amber are not related, but became friends when Eva was a very young photographer just starting out and Amber was one of her first clients to take photos from her. There are videos going pretty far back when Amber was a very young teen/preteen. This was in one of the Q&A's that Eva did about how she got started in photography.
It's so cool getting to see behing the scenes! I also love seeing more of the dynamic you have with the Wozniaks as well as the students - there's still professionalism there, but there's also friendship, and with the Wozniaks, sometimes it also seems like you're a bonus member of their family, and I kinda love getting to see that. Also, Irena saying "I know" to you telling her she's good at making juice is really a life lesson because that's really how we should all be responding to compliments (most of us don't respond that way because we don't have faith in ourselves, but we'd probably have more confidence if that's how we responded).
Or you could simply accept a compliment and say, "thank you," so you don't make the person giving the compliment feel small and beneath you. "I know," is fine when the person is known to you. It won't be taken as rude, like Irena and Eva. It will come across as extremely brusk and dismissive to someone you don't know personally.
I'm nearly 70 now, trained in ballet until i was 15 (1970) when my aspirations for a career were crushed by a critique from my school's patron. I have, however never lost my love for dance, even if disability ended my physical efforts (i was still able to do splits into my 40s).
ugh these types of videos make me feel nostalgic about something I’ve never really had . Like I danced for 8 years, but it really wasn’t professional, but I would love to pick it up again and especially try ballet.
I first learnt ballet 35 years ago and am still as in love with it as ever. Still can bust out a quad pirouette and a grand jetè so killing it in adult ballet. You get better the more you do it, so keep going! I had horrible turn out as a student but now it’s pretty much perfect. Here’s my flag : 🇲🇾 and it’s not a country most people associate with ballet at all but we are a regional powerhouse.
Keep doing what you’re doing-I like to see what’s in your head and heart. I enjoyed all of the getting ready to go, the eating, drinking, body paint, and I also enjoy everyone’s ballet.
I LOVE your vlogs!!! Damn, I want to restart life and become a master ballet academy ballerina! Ha! I’ll take happily watching from the vlog sidelines though!! Keep ‘em coming! Xoxoxo
I LOVED the vlog, please post some more 😄 it's so much fun seeing you 'backstage' with the all dancers we know in front of the camera, and OMG you had dance tuition from Maya?! I would die to see more of that 🤩 Anyway it was all just fun. Love to see more ❤
Yes Eva! Storage units are creepy! Especially at night. Hated having to go when we had one for a short time. I always had my phone and keys close and at the ready 😂
I love your vlogs, so yes - please more! Especially if they are on behind the scenes. I always assumed that the dancers like you, because otherwise you would not get such great pics and not be having private classes. But: You are a part of them, they love you! That was so cute to see. And btw: 4 pirouettes! Bravo! You have progressed sooo much! Just keep it up!
how long are you usually there for? p.s. please do a short or video with the male dancers talking about what they look out for when partnering! it would be interesting to hear more from their perspective of supporting the ballerina
15:38 she is so beautiful!!!! I wish I could see irena more!! (Sorry if I spelt it wrong) Thank you Eva~ I really enjoy the vlogs so much! You are so inspiring 🫧🪽🤍
Ok… STORYTIME! So a few months ago I saw the nutcracker because my best friend goes to master ballet. I was walking outside to congratulate her after the show, and I LITERALLY SAW EVA WALK PAST ME.
oh yves klein's granddaughter again!! i pass the appartment he signed the manifesto of new realism in, everyday i had looked up him and his son's life on wiki a bit before u posted ur shorts with her, so it was a timely surprise to see her on my feed ✨✨
3:26 I love that they are eating snacks even with the "No foods..." sign behind them 😂😂😂 ps: yes, I know the sign probably refers to eating inside the ballet hall
I love these but maybe try to keep the camera a little stable for the conversations, even if that means not recording each person as they speak. The rapid movements are a LOT.
She’s Literally born to be a Ballerina!!! Humbly, and Gorgeously, Lovely!!!! I would pay you and her for one of her pictures with the dancer’s permission of course!!! Such a Beautiful silhouette!!! A piece of Priceless Art!!! Her family must be sooooo….Proud of her!!! 🤎 🤎🤎👏👏👏 🔥🔥🔥
Exactly what I do in this video is exactly what I do there, I do individually hired photo shoots for the dancers, I film Content and sometimes I take adult class. That’s all I do.😂
I wish I could have gotten into the Master Ballet Academy. The opportunity never came up for me. I almost got into the Joffrey School of Ballet, but it didn’t pan out for me.
Recently a lot of previous MBA dancers are commenting regarding harsh/toxic environment in the School. So this vlogs actually gives people, especially the aspiring dancers who would like to be in MBA, a snippet of the real thing behind the scene. ITs true that MBA is Not for the weak. Same AS for life in General. For you to be really Good at Something, some hardship has to be experienced. So kudos to the dancers in MBA. But hoping that they are taking CAre of their mental Health and I guess the teachers are more aware about it :)
I think people forget that as time goes on, people change and grow, including businesses. What once may have been someone’s past experience may not be an accurate depiction of the current environment. I’ve probably watched over 100 hours of MBA tiktok lives in the past year and not once have I seen anything “toxic” being said or done by anyone, if anything it’s MBA’s style of teaching and the fun environment that has made it so popular on social media. I also find it interesting that past students, whilst completely valid in their opinions, have chosen now when mba is literally growing by the second in popularity online to come out and basically bash them over something that happened 6/7 years ago. Like it’s basically a guaranteed opportunity to go viral🙃 not to mention that most past students have completely disassociated themselves from MBA but would happily use their name for a social media post 🤔 but THIS video is the mba that I love to watch and have grown to love.
@@Gracemck your last paragraphs about the bandwagon, oh absolutely. I also find people get jealous that they aren't apart of the attention now when they were there "before." Gotta pull others down like crabs in a pot to make yourself feel better for a "lost or stolen" opportunity
