I served in the United States Coast Guard in the late 1970's and had several opportunities to board sea vessels from the Soviet Union. I understood at the age of 19 that all I had heard about Russians was propaganda. The Russian people I met back then were always warm, generous, and friendly. Real people. Now I am married to a beautiful Russian woman who grew up in the CCCP. She is an impressive woman in every regard, and my friends and family absolutely love and respect her. Most Americans have no idea what Russian people are all about, but we are educating them one person at a time.

Petersburg is a great city, I was there once, there's a lot of beautiful museums, Fontaines, buildings

SPB is very much worth visiting. I've been there a number of times, in fact since 2012 I've come there almost every year, sometimes even multiple times per, and it is enchanting, some of the most magical moments of my life I associate with it.

The US government is actually using the name of the continent to its citizens and country. We are US citizens and citizens of the United States. Everyone in North America Central America South America the Americas the American continent is an American like Asia are Asians Africa are Africans and Europe are Europeans. What happened first? The United States of America or the American continent? The United States of America became a nation on the date of July 4th of 1776 and the whole entire continent was already named America after Amerigo Vespucci in the year 1507 that's 269 years difference way before the United States of America became a nation. Why are people not educated about America?

You listed a lot of countries in there that the US was asked to assist other countries with who actually started a conflict like Vietnam with France and Kuwait with Iraq. The US didn't start the Iraq conflict. They were asked by the ruler of Kuwait to help them which is something that China would not help them with when Saddam invaded in 1991 for example. The UK asked for the US help against Argentina. THEY started that war not us! Don't nitpick at history. China seems to like to point at Americans like we started every war on earth with this list! US has been involved in a lot of these conflicts because other countries wouldn't come to aid their when asked including China. Don't forget Americans came to China's aid during WWII and now is China's biggest economic partner and China is powerhouse economically through that partnership because someone in Chinese government saw an opportunity to let bygones be bygones and not call us the enemy or stupid especiallyin thisnew age of tech. BTW the British started the trend of calling people from the US Americans because they didn't know what to call us after the revolution and the other western hemisphere country names seemed pretty straightforward. Technically all people from the North and South America are 'Americans' so if you want to blame someone for that blame them! That list is modest and isn't nearly as long as the list of countries certain Europeans have gone to war with and colonized you know? Just something to think about.
