In fact, the opinion of most Russians is obvious. Most people think that migrants will change the "face" of Europe beyond recognition .There is no intrigue :(
As a British man I can say that I have tremendous respect for the Russian people, and I think Russia is a beautiful country. I completely separate the actions of the Russian government with my opinions of Russian people. It might be naive, but if like to think that if Russia tried to go to war with Europe, the Russian people would not stand for it.

I try not to be prejudiced against any group of people Russians included and I didn't have anything against them before but this statistic makes them seem bad.

Меня возмутило, что когда людей спросили, что им нравится в России, они по сути ничего не могли сказать, это и есть отношение к стране и отношение к тому, чтобы тут улучшить жизнь, люди как будто пустые. А для меня тут: -Лучшая в мире театральная школа Станиславского и Немировича-Данченко -Очень интересная математическая школа, Колмогорова и ко -Угарные советские комедии и вкуснейшие блины с грибами!
+jtcnjtc Пожалуй, тут всё довольно предсказуемо. К сожалению. Любовь к отечеству у нас очень часто выражается не в уважении и любви к собственной культуре, а в ура-патриотизме, почитании царя-батюшки. К тому же в России есть явная тенденция к русофобии, среди людей политически оппозиционных и к ура-патриотизму у сторонников власти. Но и те, и другие либо не знают собственной культуры и положительных качеств в менталитете, либо почему-то не делают на этом акцента. Я не беру сейчас известных людей, хотя и многие из них укладываются в эти две крайности. Да и вообще, крайне странно вышло, что мировоззренческая позиция у людей оказалась зависима от отношения к действующему режиму. Это всё от слабости интеллектуальной жизни, мне кажется, возможно я и ошибаюсь.
Я люблю свою родину, но вынужден признать, что сегодня нам нечем гордиться. Я вижу каждый день лишь упадок, вездесущих алкоголиков и горы мусора в моем дворе.
Я видимо один вижу рост. Сравните ситуацию 10 лет назад и сейчас. Позитивная динамика налицо. Проблем у нас конечно выше крыше и людей не изменишь в одночасье. Если кругом видишь только упадок, начни менять этот мир с себя хотя бы.
Это сегодня для ярых коммунистов очень свойственно. Родину они любят (и на том спасибо), но никакие позитивные изменения в упор заметить не способны. Идеология не позволяет. А Европа нам друг, конечно. Особенно Швеция, Англия, Франция и Германия. Но этот друг почему-то периодически нападает на нас. Последний раз 27 миллионов по дружески убили. Кстати, интересно, предки опрошенных с кем воевали в 1941-1945. И для меня это не зависит от отношения к действующей власти. Думаю, наоборот, от мировоззренческой позиции зависит отношение к действующей власти.
This was very nice to see. I don't know much about russia but just from the interviews there is much less of a difference than mass media suggests a lot of the time. Although it was funny and obvious that the russian views of europe are quite a bit more idealistic / positive than I would see it myself (I wonder how they could have gotten that impression huehuehue). The bit about work ethic, common culture, transparent economics and stuff.
Hehe w/e it's nice to see there are some nice russians thinking the way the video showed. Of course it's not the only opinion. Maybe it's not even the majority or a significant amount of people at all. It's still nice that there are some people thinking that way. I'm not forcing "being friends" on anyone. I personally am also not a warmonger. There are europeans and there are european politicians just as the one person in the video said, what they want can widely differ. "89% Russians support Putin." Great video, nice to hear the views of ordinary Russians not the edited bullshit the media and politicians would have you believe. I've never been to Russia but I've met Russians while on holidays in Estonia and Cyprus and had great times with them! Who knew vodka and guinness mixed so well!?! Love and respect from Ireland.
I'd like to see ordinary Russians as our friends, I'd really do, but the fact is: I CAN'T. I see that Russian people like to separate the RUSSIAN STATE from the RUSSIAN NATION, but as we Czechs say: a nation deserves only the government it voted for.

It was during the cold war that Russia was suddenly portrayed as not European by American politics.I have always seen Russia as part of Europe. There was always cultural exchange and trade.

+tim van der velde in Russia there are two words for the Russian . This is the "Россияне" (Россия = Russia) and "русские". The Россияне - regardless of ethnic origin . Русские - ethnicity , formed on the basis of Slavic and perhaps some of the Germanic tribes

i always liked Russia. Wouldn't be able to differentiate these people from my own countrymen except for the language - sadly some are biased towards russians here, probably because of wars with them that should have been long forgotten. hope that my next trip abroad takes me to Russia! I am British, i don't hate Russians. I hate the Russian government. I hate my own government most of the time too. If Russia is open-minded, it is very dissapointing that Russia has gay propoganda law which hurts education on the issue and freedom of expression. I am gay so thankful i live in Britain. P.S. I would love to visit Moscow. It fascinates me and I'd love to meet and talk to Russian people. I think Russia is a fascinating and beautiful country. And I see Russia and the Russian people as friends as well and Russian people seem very down to Earth. A number of them showed discontent with what their country is doing. Those who support Putin live in a delusional world were Russia is some respected super power that stands equal to the west. The people in this video however, demonstrated their understanding of Russia's lack of the most basic democratic principles. Again, that is very rare among Russia. You support your president for many valid reasons? Name me 1.

Russia has the largest neo-Nazi population in Europe, and Putin's Russia is the closest existing state to Nazi Germany. You are what we call a Putin Bot. Someone who fails to see reason. К чему все эти крайности?! Россия это не Европа и не Азия. Россия это центр мира. 1/6 часть суши. А соседи слева и справа не друзья и не партнеры. Нельзя называть друзьями тех, кто на протяжении всего существования России хотят ее уничтожить. У России только два друга - армия и флот. Думаю, что терпение у России не бесконечно.
