Hi guys! In today's video is about day in the life of a semi truck driver hauling lumber and I am going to show you the process of truck loading with a forklift and how to load wood in truck. Also I show how to strap down the lumber to transport it in safety. You will also see how to remove and install windshield wipers on a truck in my 45 minutes break. I transported 23 tonnes of lumber from Slovakia to Romania. Hope you are going to enjoy it! 😊🌞

Greetings from Scotland! Cable Ties (as we call them) are one of the greatest inventions known to man (or women!) I have used these for repairing/replacing almost everything over the years! 🤣 When replacing wiper blades you only see how bad the old ones were when you use the new ones for the first time! Crystal clear vision!! At least until the winter frosts come again! 😊 I just realised how therapeutic it is watching a load of wood being put on the truck! I was completely relaxed as I watched! I know it is a lot of work for you though, Timea! I love the smell of fresh cut lumber! It really was enjoyable - Thank you again! Stay safe, stay happy and stay healthy, Timea! 😊😊

@@bobbobby8813 Salut! Je parlais de la réparation des jets d'eau sur les essuie-glaces de l'écran. Nous les appelons"Cable Ties" attaches de câble. Les "sangles à cliquet" sont les sangles de fixation de la charge. Salutations d'Écosse! 🤝😊

Great video! Your straps certainly have to be very tight to hold your load in place. I drive a truck in amaerica, and sometimes I make my straps too tight. Maybe sometime you could show us an easy way to loosen the straps. I sometimes have a difficult time loosening them. Thank you for sharing this video, I really enjoyed it. A small side cutter is the best tool to cut and trim zip ties without the risk of injur yourself or the truck.

Hello Timea, thanks for sharing a great video with us today. I find it interesting that in Europe, there are movable curtains on trailers for side loading of cargo. In the United States, trailers do not have movable curtains and cargo is loaded from the rear door of the trailer. Side loading of cargo in the United States are only done on flatbed trailers where the cargo is strapped and sometimes are tarped. Timea, during long journeys where you have to park overnight, is there the problem of thieves cutting your trailer curtain to steal your cargo while you are sleeping in your truck overnight?

Trailers in the US do too have sliding curtains. Cause having worked 40 yrs (retired now) in shipping and receiving and loading flatbeds we had some semi's come in with sliding curtains. Easy to load.

Blondie is it my set or can't I hear you talking on this video, another one too with no subtitles, didn't work well. I could hear trucks passing by you as you are changing the blades, the forklift too as you were getting loaded, but not you as you are speaking. Anyway keep up the good work!
