Without even asking the cat question, the logic of this person was off based on the very comment that was made, which was how does a guy get a right to say what a woman is, women know what women are? Being a guy dressed as a woman, so with that in mind I can u say, think, or believe that you're a woman!
IMO, I think most people misunderstood the reason he said it was a mistake. I don't think he was acknowledging that he was wrong, but a realization that it was a mistake to even have the conversation in the first place. So, instead of digging a deeper hole and making a bigger fool of himself, he just accepted the L and walked away.

Cats are vile pets. If you die, cats will be the first pets to eat your face off. I used to keep a cat but after finding this out I realized the cat stayed because I fed it, I didn't feed it because it wanted to stay. When I tried an experiment I found the cat didn't really like me until food was involved.

When your argument is so weak that it can be destroyed with a simple question. According to him, if you are not something you cant say what that something is. So if he would have answered what a cat is, next sentence is "only cats knows what cats are...so you either are a cat if you are able to say what is it, or your entire argument falls apart..." he did well to go away and not expose himself anymore

Based on body language, I'd assume that the "genuine mistake" that's being acknowledged was bothering to engage in conversation, not a reference to the actual argument.
@@pippoplutopaperino I think he was referring to his proposition that only a woman can say what a woman is. He admits that was wrong but it was a genuine error i.e he wasn't just being provocative, and was embarrassed and wished he hadn't engaged in the conversation.

But you can easily identify a cat by it’s biological features. Just like you can easily identify a woman by it’s biological features. No one says you can’t FEEL like something you’re not. You just are not that thing. That’s the only argument.

I can give an answer to that, the confusing part about being asked "what is a woman" is because there's two sides two it, sex and gender. Sex is the biological sex of a female, and identifying as a woman is identifying with the gender or the social idea of being a woman. You can say what a cat is because there is no social norms of being a cat has to care about, its a cat, which only leaves the biological definition. When you ask what is a woman its hard to say one definition without seemingly ruling out the other one, which is an identity and can mean different things to different people. If you asked someone what does it mean to be a masculine man or feminine woman it would most likely be different between people

In germany we also have for almost every animal specific gender descriptions 😅 example Dog - Rüde (m), Hündin (f) Cat - Kater (m), Katze (f) Cow - Bulle (m), Kuh (f), Färse (female virgin) Duck - Erpel (m), Ente (f) And so on. And it depends on their genitals :)
I do believe both male AND female doctors and nurses have the authority to record MALE or FEMALE on a birth certificate, TO BE DETERMINED AT A LATER DATE is not a 3rd choice.
