I got the Rice Toner recently and I have absolutely been loving it!!! I felt like my sensitive oily acne-prone skin was reacting to everything, but this hydrates and soothes my skin so well. I’m not skincare obsessed because most products burn my skin, but this makes me want to take care of my skin. I literally started smiling the first day I used it because I was so fucking happy 😂

Hi! So normally a double cleanse consists of an oil based cleanser and a water based cleanser, you got 2 oil based cleansers which may mean you don't feel cleansed properly. I just wanted to inform you as if you're not enjoying the 2 oil based cleansers maybe switch to a second step water based cleansers :) obviously do whatever you want and have fun but just thought I'd say something

You're absolutely correct. She's an esthetician, though, so she is aware of how that works! The thicker cleansing balm is more nourishing for dry and dehydrated skin like she was having, which is why she was using that! Then, the very oily one can be used as in the morning to just take off the previous nights skincare or makeup, of course. 💜

I've gotten the SKIN1004 Probio-Cica Enrich Cream as a gift from Stylevana recently and it is truly amazing! By the way, I believe that "SKIN 1004" is a word play in Korean Language, as the number 1004 is pronounced as 1000(cheon)-4(sa) which sounds like angel (천사) in Korean. I made an Amazon order for some new vegan cruelty free k beauty skincare i wanted to try. I’m so glad I saw this before the order shipped because I never used stylevana before so it didn’t even cross my mind to check there until Cassandra convinced me with this video, and I’m more than happy to help support her with the discount code. Everything that the site had from my Amazon purchase was almost half the price so I cancelled my Amazon order of those items. So excited to try the stuff I ordered, including a couple things from this video that she loved like the centella cream :) I have combination skin with oily t-zone, and have been using tretinoin for about 6 months now so it’s hard finding something occlusive enough to prevent skin flaking but also light enough to avoid being a greasy and flaky slip n slide on my t-zone. I have been using Glow Recipe plum plump cream which I love the finish it leaves on the skin but it wasn’t occlusive enough to last all day without any dry flakes appearing around my mouth from tret.

Have you tried la roche posay cicabaume? It really helped me. Also make sure to use a thin layer. And wait 30minutes after washing rhe face before putting tret. It will reduce the irritation. The skin aroubd the mouth is way more sensitive so try skipping the area/ beggin with 15min or less and then remove from the area until your skin gets used to it. I used to get flakes but now it's gone. I hope it will improve for you. Also tret will get absorbed in the 30min- 1hour after aplication so you can use face cream after or even washing the face and then regular rutine to reduce sensitivity. And just vaseline on the sensetive areas also works - around the nose, mouth, eyes, nosial folds.

Little info but Korea was one of the first country that banned animal testing in product in 2013 so if you're buying korean products manufactured in Korea no need to worry, the korean products manufactured in China are the ones tested on animals ☺️ aside from that I'm glad you mentioned how you realised a lot of the products you see online are very different than the ones in Korea. To be honest most products i see online are not that popular over here. A lot are made purely for export and would be hard to find and they price them up a bit. Also aside from that Korea is the country of trend so there's a new trending product every other day. Doesn't necessarily mean it's a good product, it could just be smell, colour or packaging that makes it trend so keep that in mind! When shopping don't pay attention to whats trending or not everyone 🥰

Would like to point out that just because there are no studies to prove efficacy, it does not mean it doesn’t work. It just means there is not enough profit in the element to warrant a study. Studies are expensive. Not to be at you, I like you and value your content. I just get a bit triggered when people say there are no studies to prove something.

Studies are expensive, but considering how many $billions the supplement industry and the beauty industry, there's little reason not to. Information is needed on how effective ingredients are and if there are potential adverse effects. The supplement industry is not really regulated and it's been shown that many supplements have very different amounts of active ingredients listed (way too much or way too little), and we should be holding the beauty industry to the same standard.

Shopping for anything related to skincare, beauty, cooking, fragrance and self-care is my happy place. Bookended by vintage clothing, second hand books and flea markets. As long as you're spending within your means, researching educating yourself and developing your tastes en-route to The Great Spend is more than half the fun. Which is why I watch channels like this. The original Heimish all clean balm I love and have repurchased many times, I only didn't like that it had polyethylene. The mandarin one does not have polyethylene but can be difficult to find sometimes. I recommend trying beauty of joseon cleansing balm too, the cleansing power is non-inferior, packaging is nice and price is friendly.

As a long-term Rosacea sufferer myself, may I suggest: 1. Washing with CeraVe cleanser for normal to dry skin? 2. Also salicylic acid wash. 3. Laser treatments can help as well! 4. If you can tolerate oral antibiotics, Achromycin V tetracycline antibiotics should work for most types of Rosacea! 5. Rosadyn nutraceutical capsules work as well!

Azelaic acid saved my red skin. Also using sunscreen and la roche posay cicabaume that I use as a face cream/face mask/ just use on my cheeks where I had redness. Also using very gentle cleanser. And gentle makeup remover. And peptides also helped my skin barrier. )I don't have rosecia, but I had a really bad unhinged dead skin barrier that took 6 monts to fix. And I was full on red non stop to the point I though I had rosecia and this thing helped. Also stopped retinol/actives. And even salicylic acid was to much at one point. I ised sulfur 10% instead that was ok, but you should check if that specifically ok for you

I have tried but just can’t anymore. Snail mucin does have research to show its benefits- you don’t have to promote it if it doesn’t align with your beliefs, but you Choose to lie and be snarky. One of your last videos about prostaglandins in lash serums, you had a stream-of-consciousness questioning if the Ordinary’s product contained them… which it does not… which you should have looked up (simple) before your video. You’ve been very open about your struggles, and I wish you well. It sometimes reads as disingenuous when you constantly reference your experience for sympathy. A lot of us out here busting our asses and going through shit without constantly bombarding our customers with it.

So! For zinc to be most efficacious you need to pair it with an ionophore that can help it cross through cell membranes. Elderberry for sure, but to boost you can also add Green tea or turmeric❤ also, take it the minute you start feeling sick.

I love stylevana but I haven't ordered from them because my last order took 6 months to get to me. I am not exaggerating. I had to email them and literally beg for my products. The status said it wasn't shipped out for 4 of those months. My products usually take 1 month. I live in America.

I changed my entire routine of skincare and bought everything from Korean skincare lines (bankrupt). I watch a lot of informative videos and started using sheet masks, essence, toner in my skincare routine( did not do it before ever) I have oily sensitive acne prone redness problems skin I mean mild rosacea, in winter I am in cold Northern country in summers I go to 36-42 C region so my skin gets the worst wind harsh treatment in winters and gets red + dry but oily at the same time. I bought some calming creams and sheet masks and they already work wonders but redness is the only problem I still work on. Any tips to get rid off mild rosacea is welcome :)

I saw sooo many bad reviews on trust pilot about this store. Like it takes months for stuff to arrive, if it even arrives, and that their customer service is horrible. I’m wondering if anyone here had the same bad experience, before I order anything

I have ordered 4 times over the last year and my Mom has ordered twice and we haven't had any issues. It takes 2-3 weeks to arrive, which I'm fine with. I have to wonder if people exaggerate because we're so used to instant gratification.

The only “fat water”/essences that I’ve tried and liked are the good molecules HA essence, fresh kombucha facial essence (can NOT justify the price tho 🥲) and the Hanskin hyaluron skin essence. I prefer the hanskin personally because of the texture and how it makes my skin feel after. I do like the fresh one as well but holy shit the price 💀

I've used Torriden before and was confused by the tagline "you skin is our planet" and eventually came to the conclusion what they MEANT is "your skin is our world" as in caring for your skin is their reason for existence. I tried the skin hydrating booster and I did feel like that gave me nice hydration. Think I might re-purchase that one soon, I've just been trying so many toners lately that I didn't get it again but it was really nicely hydrating. It felt a little more thick and like it plumped up my skin. I haven't tried the serum but I would bet the booster is better if you're looking for deep hydration.

You got me psyched to check them out. I do wish they showed the active type of sunscreen they're using. Am I missing it? Cool side note, I got to do makeup at NYFW for a Japanese brand. We were supplied with Maybelline Japan makeup. Apparently it's different there. I learned that the FDA (or whatever it's called in Japan) has to approve makeup products. In the U.S. i think fda standards are very low, but maybe it's different there.

the Nivea super water sunscreen is incredible. it has the texture of essence. it is so much lighter than even the la Roche posay sunscreen. it has gotten me through working outside all day in the summer. I love it

yeah, it's great for people with normal/combo or oily skin since it's very light, japan can be quite humid so it's very popular there. I'd suggest for any skin type to try it out though, it comes in a larger size than just 50ml, it's very affordable and was a long time recommendation of one of my fav skincare youtubers, tina tanaka harris

I love your excitement! Also, soooo excited for you and hope it all works for you. Do pace yourself, give your skin time to adjust to each item. But I know I don't have patience so it's kind of funny for me to say that. I hope your cold goes away soon. Also, I legit want every item you ordered but have nothing. I especially wanf the rice toner and centella goopy stuff. Oh recently I got the Heimish original cleaning balm and I use it on my skin even without sunscreen or makeup on. It's just so lovely. I hope Cassandra will do a review soon but this is my HG toner. It calms down my redness and any inflamed acne instantly-my skin looked better in one day and I’ve seriously never experienced that level of skin calmness. I’m going to empty my second bottle but I already bought 2 backups on Black Friday bc it’s hard to get it at such a good price

Almost 10 years battling acne with puss and cystic it hurts till i don't like seeing my face in the mirror. Now i proudly smile and put no to minimal make up to enhance my beauty. I put on hand first because i'm not trying to put my dropper in skin and cause potential issues with contamination, iv never dropped on face. I really don't Love dropper bottles in general.
