Hi C&J - OMG, you are quite the bargain shopper and negotiator! Gotta love the selection of stuff you can buy there and the prices are amazing. Hopefully you won't need to buy another suitcase to bring all your bargains home! 🤣🧳 Hugs!!!!! 😎💚☘🍻
Love the channel , we are going to marmaris October and hope you don’t mind me namedropping u guys when haggling at same places u bought from ?!! Ha . Question tho , what was the name of that bar that did all the big steaks etc ? Guy called max I think you said runs it ??
Haha 😂 thanks for watching the channel we are glad you've found it useful. Pop in is the name of the bar with the big steaks 😄 Max will definitely take care of you on their the food is amazing 😍😍
We probably could have pushed a few things a bit to get some extra pounds off. But as we said if they offer a price we are happy with we will pay it 💗 we were happy and they were too. Thanks for watching
Yes we've been for Easter in April before it's about 23/24 in the daytime cold in the evening you will definitely need a jacket. It can be a bit rainy at times too. Thanks for watching
I would recommend the marina area for during the day or for dinner. There are a lot of restaurants down there and it's beautiful. There are also shops behind the marina near bar street that have Turkish restaurants and bakeries that the locals use. Best food we found was El primo at Blu Bay, Taj mahal and pop in bar do great steaks.
you are allowed to haggle we just came back in june and my wife got the same nike trainers for £10 . and £10 the most you pay for a tee shirt . you never give them what they ask for you should know this by now . as you have been here a couple of times now .
We did haggle. I got designer t shirts for £5 in a shop around the resort but they will do you about 6 washes. You can pay £25 for shit jeans and £45 for much better quality jeans. It all depends on what you want. The £15 t shirt was initially £25. You should know this. We don't haggle to rock bottom prices because times are tough for everyone right now and if it means they make £3-£5 then so be it.
oh believe you me i have a friend who lives out there and is married to a turkish man who now has 3 shops and they would not sell you anything unless they are making 40% profit thats how i know how far i can push them . and the outlet stores have better quality items and a very good price also . . so happy shopping and i hope you all enjoyed ur holiday once more . @@HangoversHandpays
They do, but when shopping they prefer sterling. A lot of the shops will have prices in sterling and lira. We never bring lira as we get a better rate on exchange out there in the corner shops and restaurants
Yes I could have gotten more for poorer quality items. I tried on a 10 quid pair of trainers and they were so poorly made they felt like walking on cardboard. They prefared to be paid in sterling and when we asked the lira price found that items they quoted us a tenner for suddenly became 12 or 13 quid in lira price. As the lira is so poor against the pound at present they seem to really want you to pay in sterling
What hotel/ apartment did u stay in marmaris..... Because I was going down to the bazaar everyday for my 14 days. Better question how many times did u go down the bazaar during your stay or did e just hang around the resort drinking in a Muslim country 🤣🤣
What do people get out of buying fake items? If you can’t afford the real thing then don’t bother!!! £35 wasted in my eyes. As for the towels and sweets ( for me a waste of the other £15 ) but that’s just my opinion.
This video was to show what you could expect to pay in the bazaar. However prices for goods are definitely up on the last few years we have been there. We were told that the Turkish people but all there stuff in euro at the start of the season. The lira rate was stronger against the euro at the start of the year so therefore they need to ask more than usual for goods as the lira has had such a decline against the euro and pound. We did see other prices cheaper in resort but not the same quality.
