Can confirm. My Filipina once told me "The only thing I really need from you is just that you love and respect me." It also seems like I can't tell her I love her enough. I had a girlfriend from the Philippines. I can honestly say that it was the best 3 years of my life. She could cook, clean, and was very loving. It really isn't hard to keep a man happy.

The things you two are talking about are what mature men expect: feminine women being themselves and being open about family, relationships, and culture . It IS controversial because of the degradation of society! Most of the girls I have dated have always held the Banana well pinched the tic tac in my case. Seems to me that is a form of comfort to them knowing they are holding their mans love connection . I on the other hand can't sleep knowing they have the grip of love and end up getting excited and have no other choice but to use that affection. When little willy wakes up he needs a work out to go back to sleep . I never dated a Filipina But I have seen more video's then most and from watching the Video's I have learned that a true Loving Filipina will do everything no matter what to please her man . Most Filipina's don't care how much money you have as long as you make enough to lay food on the table and spend time with them letting them know you love them . Ask youre self this . Why would you wish to be with a girl that fells you need to buy them a lot of gifts why you should treat them like they are gold while they treat you like crap when you can be with a Filipina that will treat you like a GOD even if you had little money and bought them little things like a Night out at Joli Bees or a simple flower. Most Filipina's are not gold diggers yes there is a few but not all. Most Filipina's just want to love you as much as you love them nothing more and a true Filipina will always do or try to do anything that makes you happy. No Western Girl would do anything as well as a Filipina . And if they said they will they lied

When you know how to cook, you create a house, a family, an identity for your family. I still remember how my grandmas used to cook, the feeling of belonging to a family it creates. Among cousins we still remember that special food grandma use to cook for us.

My Filipina is certainly this way. If I call her by her name instead of using a term of endearment like babe or sweetheart, she instantly asks me why I am mad at her. She also will fight back if she feels like I am not respecting her. I've learned that simply asking and respecting her opinions, wants, and desires (I'm not talking about sexual desires), she gives me all of her heart. They aren't selfish or self-centered, entitled, what have you done for me type of women. Filipinas give more to a relationship and family than any woman I've dated in my country ever if you just take care of her and the kids. Keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

Women like the two of you remind me why I went to the Philippines in February. I have a friend and his wife that live there. They tried to set me up a few of their friends, but sadly none of them worked out. I have a positive outlook on life, so maybe next time!

My English husband was 20 years senior than me, we were married for 27 years with 2 well behaved sons. Unfortunately he passed away 4 years ago with heart complications. He was bed bound for 2 years and I looked after him until his last breath.

You don't use tons of makeup, your hair is real, your skin is prefect, your fit and feminine and which man in the world would not want to wake up next to a beautiful Filipina everyday. As for me helping her family if were a couple then her family is my family and I want to see them thrive. After living my life in the west, it's time for me to find my peace, my soulmate. Flipina’s are loving, feminine, love their families and genuine. They love men when they are men. And they love being women. Are not feminists. To me those are some of the key reasons Western men find women in the Philippines so attractive.

For this passion, this loyalty, these values.. I'd literally make time to visit this girl's family and chop wood every week!.. Show massive amounts of love and appreciation to her daily.. Having someone give you this kind of heart, attention and care.. I'd give her x100 back in return daily.. Make sure she knew, heard me say it and saw me show it every day.. Pea you are the type of woman who creates fire in a man to serve and adore you. You're very sweet and realistic and that makes us men want to protect and love you like a baby kitten 😁. Therefore, it is not hard to be loyal to you and to really have your respect by eye contact is surprised to see our little Filipina woman really being fulfilled and completed as a woman. Holding the equipment isn't just a Filipina thing by any means! I can testify 🤣 I love when a lady does that to me, especially when I'm not expecting it! One of my big bugbears is stereotyping of whole groups of people. As a teacher, I tried hard to convince people that they are individual and unique and they have their own talents and skills. I checked out a few of Helga's videos on her channel and honestly she comes across a lot better on your channel than she does on her own sometimes, maybe because she's a bit newer and still finding her footing or because you're such a more seasoned interviewer? You really put her through a tough interview and she handled herself SO well! Respect to both of you ladies!

Interesting. Helga doesn't seem very westernized for living in the west for so long. That's refreshing because the scariest thing would be to get with a lovely Filipina only to take her home and she becomes American. Thanks for keeping it real.

It took me going through 2 Filipina scammers being taken for millions and millions of php and lying and cheating for 18 years before actually giving up on love and finding myself dejected with the whole dating thing anymore I met my current Filipina girlfriend and now we will be getting married in May. No more lying and cheating thank you god.

My wife and I have been married for 17 years. The area I live here in Ontario Canada is rural and there are a lot of agricultural workers from the Phils. We have created a community and are very close. It is made up of Phil Can couples and Phils couples. There is no drama what so ever and we celebrate birthdays, holidays, baptisms and monthsaversaries lol there is always something going on. I do not know of any negative tales that some vloggers talk about online. All the Phil Can couples I know have been married for many years very happily. Actually I encourage bringing a Filipina to the west. Especially if your long term goal is to retire to the Phils. Not only can she have better opportunities to save up to go back but for business reasons as well. The learning opps in the west are so much better. My wife has done very well for herself here both in full time work and side hustles. We have 3 children together and they are the center of our lives. I love cooking so I do most of the Filipino foods in the house and my wife always brags to her friends about the dishes I cook. I leave the Bulad to my asawa though lol.

Hi Pea. Helga was a wonderful interview. I think we all enjoyed hearing from her. Many here talk about the disintergration of western society/culture. I myself don't think the western is being distroyed, rather, it is simply going through another change. I had a college professor tell us there are TWO basic types of societies; Static and Dynamic. A static society stays the same generation after generation after generation...rarely changing and very little when it does. A Dynamic society changes with every generation. Dynamic societies are always more fair, just and wealthy. Dynamic societies offer more opportunity and hope. The U.S is a dynamic society. It changes with every generation. One example of a static society would be afghanistan. Anyway, great post as usual. Take care and be safe.

From my experience, my lady wanted me to be genuine and honest with her, she also wants me to be loyal to her and her alone. My shape was never a deal breaker her but she wants me to be in good health and eat healthy with her. She worries about my health a lot so I've been pushing myself to get in better health.

The family is the basic and most important aspect of Filipino culture. Divorce is prohibited and annulments are rare . And the Philippines is a collectivist society, in which the needs of the family are prioritized over the needs of the individual. Filipinos value social harmony and maintaining smooth relationships, which means they may often avoid expressing their true opinions or delivering unwanted news.
