What would a Mash-up of Eleanor Rigby and Immigrant Song sound like? 

This is Immigrant Rigby, a mashup of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song and The Beatles' Eleanor Rigby. Recorded by a full band, in studio.
Here's the backstory:
Late one night, after a typically long rehearsal session, Edison Overdrive's multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Ed James mentioned in passing that he'd recently figured out that the lyrics to The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" could be sung over the music of Led Zeppelin's "The Immigrant Song" to create an incredibly unique combination of the two (yes, we know...he's wicked smart). After the initial disbelief passed, we all jumped in and before long had the basics figured out.
Once settled on the final arrangement, we then leapt into the recording process. The lush vocals, the thunderous rhythm section, the soaring guitars... all independently recorded, produced and mastered by Edison Overdrive.
