I'm a functioning adult who was diagnosed with autism as a teen. A job like this seems like something I want to try. I hope I can be a living example for kids to look up to.

I'm currently in the process of being an RBT. I'm excited about this new career.

I’ve been an RBT for almost three years. I love how you explained this job! I met this 8 year old who would have 20 high magnitude SIB and 50 low magnitude SIB in a day. It was a struggle bus mentality, but now he is about to go to a school setting! It wasn’t easy, but has been the most rewarding journey to be on.

Hello! You were the reason I became an RBT and since day one I have loved it! I first was a in-clinic RBT and now I work in a school. Because schools have so many off days iv recently been thinking of becoming an in-home RBT part time but I’m extremely scared and nervous. Could you please make a video with tips and info on how to be successful when doing in-home? My main fear is possibly not having support on tough days

I am in the transportation industry and I want to be a financial planner. I personally think knowing the behaviors of why your clients do what they do is very important and for a deeper meaning, I believe a therapist should work along side financial advisors/planners so that both their wallets and their underlining problems can be resolved.

Thanks for your videos, their very informative and interesting. I am an rbt myself already. But I am struggling to do my resume cause I don't have experience as an rbt. Although, I have a kid who is autistic. That would be the most experience I would say I have with autism. I came across your video, i myself work at a school district in an SEA I feel inlove with the autism classroom there and the teacher of that room says that i do so well with them and i love seeing them thrive lots of non verbal kiddos and one is now getting her words and I'm proud of her! Do you think it be a good fit i want to continue to work with autism persons and help them.

Hey, I'm an RBT who's working for a larger company. Some fellow RBT's and I are in the early stages of researching how to unionize. It seems like it's not a very common thing for RBT's to do and I was wondering if you had any thoughts or experiences with that?

I got hired for an ABA Therapy - BT Position at a center that I applied for on indeed with no experience in this field or prior training. They will be training me through the company/center. Is this normal or was this a once in a lifetime moment? Lol I have 8 hours of onboaring training to do this week. ABA Experience was preferred but they said they "will train motivated individuals."

Big question!! Can anyone help! While completing supervision hours for obtaining BCABA are you able to get paid during those supervised hours? Like as a behavioral tech or as an RBT? Or is it unpaid time that you have to figure out how to complete without making money.

I just hate the lack of full time work at least in my location. I had to turn down jobs for ABA for that reason. Due to my experience as a retired counselor I get lots of ABA suggestions
