tough to say when playing a easy 6k course was wonder why record was 62 but see why now.

@@whatthe3504 Even though it is a shorter golf course, if you watch how precise his iron shots were and his putting.....Pretty amazing.

@@georgespalding7640 yeah he has good short game and accuracy off the tee just only got to see one iron shot that wasnt a wedge. just wasnt much to go on since every pro can stick in close with wedges.

@@whatthe3504 Not many pros can go to a strange golf course and shoot 12 under for 14 holes sight unseen. I've been around Golf for a long time and this kid is the real deal. Plus he's got a great positive mindset.

once you have your swing down it takes less maintenance practice to maintain it. most guys just play on course vs hitting on range which its what he does.

@@Isgerrior1 this young man has a natural gift. Some don't have to pound balls for three hours a day to maintain that gift. Lee Trevino rarely hit very many balls on a driving range before a PGA tournament. And if you remember, Lee was one of the best ball strikers in the history of the game.

@@georgespalding7640 I used to work at Atlanta Athletic Club where the Ford family are members. David and Maxwell began playing the game at a young age so a lot of their work on the range was done before they could even drive a car. They had their swings down to a science before they got out of high school. Nowadays if you see them practicing it is on the short game facility. They chip and putt every single day. They still hit balls from time to time but if you see them making a full swing it is likely on the golf course. David is the only player I've ever been around that I can say with confidence has a really good shot at playing this game for a living. I see him winning on the PGA Tour one day. I'm a fan of his because of who he is as a person. There are a lot of good players out there but he's as nice as they come.

@@LukePeavyGolf The most impressive round I've ever seen in person was David Duvall's 59 on the Arnold Palmer course at PGA West in 1999. The longest birdie putt he had all day was 10 feet. he knew he had to eagle the last hole to win the tournament and shoot 59. His drive went 340 yards and he hit 5 iron to 6 feet and made the putt. I was standing 30 feet away when he made the putt. A fond memory in my life to have witnessed that round.

😂 good one, he’s a very nice lad. Most young guys I know that play golf are like this here in NZ. It’s a great game of highs and lows. More the latter in my game lately 😂
