I confirm that Italian breakfast is definitely SWEET. In Sicily they have even a special variation: they mix croissants with almond or lemon granita. As Italian grown up with sweet breakfast I admit I don’t understand eggs, bacon or butter at the beginning of the day
@@Maps_Craftersame here but as someone who’s more slovak and has Italian relatives not a lot of people bother with breakfast some do others don’t. Its funny but pretty much all of my Italian relatives love me and my mom, we make the best Italian food apparently that you can find in poor rural America. Sometimes you wake up and you’re not hungry until like seven and you’re already at work.
@@ignfan4life I'm with you on that, but I need A mix of sweet and salty for breakfast. Steak for breakfast? Yeah Eggs, cheese, ham, tomatoes, cucumbers, spring onions and bread for breakfast? Yeaahhh Kajmak for breakfast? Yeah Ajvar for breakfast? Yeaahh Butter and cold chocolate milk or a milkshake for breakfast with some pastries, like Baklava? Yeeeaahhhh
Im italian and the breakfast Insane! Italy Is Number 1 of the best food on the world (for me) my favourite foods are spaghetti, carbonara, tagliatelle, farfalle............................
It looks delicious, but I thought Italians were more health aware. How do you guys keep slim by eating that every day or most days? Americans and British don't, and there is a high obesity rate in these countries. What is the secret? I'm going to Italy soon, and I only have to look at those brioches and granitas to put on! Anything else you can have for breakfast?
@@rose_ytsbecause it’s a small pastry. they keep their breakfasts and even lunches light. most of the time Italians also get a lot of walking in throughout the day.
I am in Italy right now and the idea of sweets for breakfast makes me feel physically ill. I have looked far and wide for places that will offer me a savoury breakfast. And I still keep and eye out. But I think it is very unlikely. SO.. After only one morning of being subject to a sweet breakfast, I decided to simply buy my own ingredients. I now cook breakfast at my apartment every morning before leaving the house. These foods do look delicious. But as someone who focuses on maintaining my muscle mass and really enjoys fitness, this just can not cut it. I need all macronutrients at breakfast time. Which means fats and protein from things like eggs on toast with bacon and generous amounts of butter. Good for you for being able to enjoy the traditional breakfast, though ☺️🙏🏼 I can’t say they’re not delicious 🤤 But perhaps just after lunch time instead, though 😅
Sound so american lol, (body mass) fitness and other bullshit. People in Italy actually walk so they do not have to worry about getting fat or exercising.
@@yuselbionovas8108 me: a Greek Australian who walks everywhere all the time back home in the same way that you’re describing Italians. I just don’t like sweets at breakfast, man. The muscle mass thing is an extra factor. I never said I don’t eat sweets. I literally sat in my apartment after WALKING here from the city in Florence, eating chocolate. Just can’t do it first thing in the day.
@@yuselbionovas8108I'd walk more if the cities in america were designed better. Most of the time the streets are too dangerous to walk on and being run over by a car is very likely.
This is the best breakfast ever,Idc about power,The important thing is that the breakfast is good,Usually in Italy we don't even have breakfast, around 1 pm we can think of a good plate of pasta
Although drinks are good in physical education book is returned at its best to eat something physically rather than just drinking juices because you will get more energy
